Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Do not feel right that I should pay for parking, unless I had more than 1 vehicle. Was not that way in the past. Extended pool hours until 11PM would be nice. Need towel availability at pool to be checked more frequently.

The facility needs updating. There was a bag of trash outside our window on the roof. Obviously been there for awhile. The shower control needed to be replaced. We had no shower gel in the shower. Didn't try the shampoo bottle. Several tiles in the bathroom were not attached to the floor. 2 ice machine were down had to walk to the other side of the building to find ice.

Any door that used the room key for access took multiple attempts to access. One such time took me 10+ attempts with both of the key cards I was given.
The breakfast was well prepared and laid out, and the different amenities, from the gym to the pool were great. The location was amazing for my needs and has access to plenty of activities.

The pillows were the only part of the hotel that I didn’t like. They were too soft.

My husband said the coffee was terrible. We had the wrong type of room the first night and very noisy people above us. The hotel had been overbooked, so we got the room we wanted for the second and third nights. We were also given some bonus points for the mistake.
Breakfast was fine. My husband and son enjoyed the eggs, sausage and potatoes very much. When we got the proper room (the second and third nights), it was fabulous! Exactly what we'd hoped for. We were also able to park very close to where our room was located. We simply walked down the stairs across from our room and out to the parking lot.

Having to pay parking per night seems a bit ridiculous for the amount of money I paid for the room per night. I suggest maybe charging if the guest has more than one car. This property is connected to an Embassy Suite that was newly renovated, when I got there to check in, no one was at the Homewood Suite front desk. They had a sign telling the guests to check in at the Embassy Suite front desk. Also, if we wanted to have breakfast we had to go to the Embassy Suites side. For me this was an inconvenience because from my room it was a but of a walk. The amenities at the Homewood Suite are very outdated and I think the price per night is high for the room.
The property it-self was good. The property outside looks just like the pictures. The parking has good lighting.

Our room smelled like stale smoke.
Breakfast was super cramped. Someone threw up and it was over 30 minutes before it was cleaned up. Employees friendly except the bartender at managers happy who was lackadaisical about his service to the guests. I would have ordered another drink if he’d come back to my end of the bar. But I left instead.

You have to pay $7 a night for parking!! So crazy to make people pay for parking. Also the indoor poor was closed (which the reason we booked this hotel) but we were able to drive to another location 18 minutes away and use their pool.
Delicious breakfast, clean room, clean common areas.

Location to family
Only positive was location. Sidewalks were not cleared of snow and we slipped several times trying to get in the handicap spot. Room was not handicap accessible as requested. Hallway stink of burnt food all weekend. No one present at desk, ever. Had to walk all the way across to other hotel for assistance VERY DISAPPOINTED
