Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaPaying extra to park in the garage. There wasn’t alot to walk to around in the area (restaurants or stores). Close to hospital, heard sirens throughout the night.
It was very nice. Great staff; breakfast and 24 hour coffee and tea were great (cookies too)! Area of town was a little loud and not many food choices around, but Cuban restaurant take out connected to hotel was delicious!

United States of AmericaThe noise outside was pretty bad. It is right across from a hospital, which meant there were sirens at all times of the day and night. The neighborhood also had a lot of homeless people. A local told us that the area is often referred to as “The Methodone Mile” because of the drug users.
The Cuban restaurant attached to the hotel was the best thing.

FranceSome of the receptionists are either overworked or undertrained as they can be rather unpleasant. The rest of the staff was very helpful and charming (breakfast staff, cleaning crew, luggage clerk…) I did not appreciate being lied to, I called in before booking to make sure the pool was working. I checked in two days later and the pool was “just” out of order but some other guests said it was already out of order when they arrived a few days ago… The area is not the most fun or friendly but it’s still quite practical.
The beds are great and the rooms are very comfortable. Loved the complementary toiletries Breakfast is nice and sufficient The staff was very helpful and charming (breakfast staff, cleaning crew, luggage clerk…) The area is quite practical and much quieter at night than proper downtown Boston.

United States of AmericaRoom service didn't come and change our trash or give us fresh towles on our 2nd or 3rd day. We had to call for it. The pool is only 3 1/2 feet deep on both ends. Sirens constantly.
Friendly and accommodating staff. Pool view was really nice. Continental breakfast had good options and plenty of food. Didnt hear surrounding rooms.

The free breakfast was pretty good I especially liked the potatoes and the lemon poppy seed scones. My room was a good size for the price. I had trouble with my room key when I first got there and one of the nice house keeper helped me with it. Turned out I had it in the wrong way.hahaha.

United States of AmericaWe were looking really forward to swimming and lounging by the pool while my husband had his surgery at New England Baptist. BUT! The room where the pool was very cold and the water lukewarm warm, so for me winter stays will not happen at that hotel, you couldn’t even stand there and dry off it was freezing. You shouldn’t advertise a pool if it’s freezing, it’s Boston on the water, it should have been much much warmer..
Wonderful location, parking was ok but could be much better, at times there was no place close to walk to the hotel but ok for Boston.

PortugalThe breakfast room. No control on people and lack of tables. The location. There were strange people at the back of the hotel and a lot of police cars around. There was some noise from ambulances and emergency services.
Breakfast: the variety and the waffles. The bed was comfy. The staff, specially the shuttle driver. Short walk from the orange T line and a bus to Harvard (1) just one street aside.

United States of AmericaThe elevators seemed to be malfunctioning so we kept having to use the stairs or pray that it didn’t fall down. The outlet on the side of my bed was not working so I had to plug my phone in across the room. Parking was not included in price. It cost us $35 for one night to park in the garage next to the hotel.
Beds were extremely comfortable and clean. Room was clean. Staff were friendly. Easy and quick check-in.
