You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. United States of AmericaWe were booked in a room with a connecting door to another room. There were muddle school kids in the connected room 2 nights in a row. The noise/talking was almost unbearable. Also- pool was closed awaiting an inspection so there was no where to sit outside except a picnic table.
Breakfast choices were very good. Breakfast attendents/cooks were nice. Front desk staff were polite.

United States of AmericaI was charged on my credit card $436.74 after being told on line the charge would be $388.99. I remember on check in the charge was $191.68 and $197.31. I called the hotel and was told that the online charge was just to reserve the room and the final charge would be assessed on checkin. I have used booking.com in the past and never had this happen. Later in the conversation I was told that there was a $50 pet charge which was not asked about when I checked in. The difference in the two fees is $47.75 so this explanation does not add up. Anyway I am unhappy with the different charges and plan not to use booking.com in the future.

We had to leave earlier than expected to grab breakfast but that was one of the reasons I booked there because it was included in the cost. United States of AmericaWasn't really anything other than the day before we checked out someone checked in on the same floor we were on. The whole floor smelled like pot or weed. Whichever you want to call it. All the did was spray air freshener. It's a nonsmoking hotel. I would have thought they would have been kicked out. Nope, later it smelled like pot again. I had a migraine the rest of the night.
