The location was excellent. Quiet country setting, but within minutes of Huntley. Fresh muffins, and hard boiled eggs each morning were great. We thoroughly enjoyed feeding the ducks, and geese as well as seeing the chickens and peacocks. Our host was friendly and attentive. Check in was very smooth, and parking was no problem.

Comfortable, staff was great, homemade muffins, handicap accessible ahower. Beautiful grounds. Who would have thought you could find a taste of real Southern hospitality in the Chicago area. When I'm in the area again I will stay here if they have a vacancy.

Truly, this is a great place! I have absolutely zero complaints.

This is a wonderful setup for groups / families traveling together, or for individuals / couples on their own. There are four rooms available, three with en suite bathrooms, and one with a very nice bathroom just across the hallway. There's a shared kitchenette with a dining table and a small living room, as well as numerous places to relax outside, complete with comfortable chairs and fire pits. The homemade blueberry muffins in the morning are exceptional, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The baskets of snacks in the rooms and availability of small refridgerated items (yogurt, hard boiled eggs, milk, apple and orange juice) are a very nice touch as well. The property owner does a great job of making sure everyone feels welcome and is a great communicator (texts before arrival and check-out make the process easy).

Make note that the kitchen, living room is shared space. It is a very nice space including all sorts of games.

The included continental breakfast was very nice with boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, cereal, and fresh muffins. Very clean and luxurious towels.

Room is very clean and neat and graceful, when I stay in the hotel, it's s sowing very hard and very cold outside, the room is very warm and comfortable. The hotel is located in a garden, big trees with hundreds of years, so beautiful is the surrounding environment! Bed is very soft, the Barth room is very clean, the shampoo and condition and body wash gel all are nice selections for guests. Snacks in room is free, and breakfast is free, just feel like in own house. David is a very kind gentleman who is very helpful, and his wife too. I have a very pleasant stay in Harmony Inn. Thanks so much! I must give a 5-rate good reviews from my heart. Will stay in this hotel for sure next time.

The bunk beds were a little scary. They would be just fine for small children but I had 2 teenage girls with me and the bunk beds were very shaky.

Food was fresh eggs from the chickens on site. Clean brand new accommodations....mini fridge with drinks and snacks and personal bathrobes in each room...plus our own personal massage recliner in our room...beautiful patio with gas glass filled fire pit right out side your room thru sliding glass doors. communal kitchen and activity/living room had amazing comfy furniture board games and dining room table. Bathrooms were immaculate and well stocked with a complimentary basket of toiletries....including a sewing kit razor Tylenol ect.... Fresh fruit always available...as well as hot chocolate tea coffee with a well stocked Keurig. If you love nature , the wetlands peace and quiet and birds this is the place for you. Serine and peaceful with an amazing host!! They have grounds and woods to walk around, wetlands preserve!! Chickens, Ducks, geese, turkeys,and peacocks(including a solid white one) who come up to you and you can feed them lettuce!! No ticks mosquitos flys really ect....thanks to having those amazing birds around!! This was my first B & B experience and I have to say it's gonna take a lot for any other place I will ever stay at to top The Harmony Inn!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ And then some!!!

very accommodating and we liked the extra special touches. water, juice, snacks. very clean and comfortable and quiet. that's all you really need is good nights sleep. at first we thought it was a little remote but I think in the summer it would be better. And know there's not much in Huntley to choose from . great job.
