Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room layout was a bit awkward, including the bathroom space. The decor was plain, and the kitchen was not well appointed. I wouldn't count on preparing anything there. It's also very easy to get locked out of the kitchen, especially for kids. We didn't get to use the pool. Breakfast was about as expected.
We had the family suite, with one bed in the secondary bedroom, and two beds in the main room. There was a small kitchen in a separate room. It was clean and there was enough space, but that's about all there is to note.

Bed comfort, no soap dish in shower, toilet so close to wall that one’s arm easily knocked the roll of toilet paper off the roller, onto the floor. No hand towel rack/hook near the bathroom sink.
No breakfast offered. Location good for our needs. Appeared to be a bit dated. Room was good size, with a separate kitchen area.

Room 207, the furniture showed signs of age, the chairs in the kitchen wobbled a bit, the drawers did not stay closed, the plugs were all loose, and we could not figure out how to get the TV to work, it said press a button that wasn't on the remote.
We did not have breakfast, but the restaurant looked very nice.

There were no kitchen utensils in the kitchen area. This was a single room but it would be nice to have some utensils since there was a cooktop.

Didn’t have regular cleaning services. Once in every three days. We had children traveling with us and it needed to cleaned everyday so it was messy.
Location was near Safeway and banks.

Floor was dirty. I needed to wear socks while in the room and even they got very dirty. Old dresser's drawer kept sliding out. Previous guest had stuffed empty coffee packaging under front legs to help level it. Bath sink drained very slowly. "Kitchenette" outlet didn't work so I made coffee on the floor nearby.
Best location for travel to Memorial Hospital. Also, hotel is in the city but in a private location. Room renovations; excellent upgrades throughout.

I asked for towels twice and didn't get any and it was super unhygenic and uncomfortable. If I knew there was a 'no new towel' rule I would've behaved differently! Also, I asked the man checking me in to write down my room number and he still said it out loud with other people in the small check in area. As a solo female traveler that sucks.
The breakfast place attached was literally incredible and very convenient. The room was HUGE! There was a bluetooth speaker on the alarm clock.

It is an older facility, but has nice upgrades. On entering the room the smell of cleaning solution was overpowering. It did dissipate by the second day. Not enough coffee in the room, only one cup worth. Cleaners did not come to clean second day so coffee was not replenished.
Location and cost. Very spacious rooms.

The location is not great if you’re a light sleeper. Bring earbuds. Also, some facilities were broken but eventually fixed.
This is just about the nicest inn I’ve ever been in. Modern bathrooms, plenty of space, and a balcony to beat.

The room looked remodeled however the lamp shade was cracked and her on by a hair tie. Some dust on things that should have been clean.

Concrete steps are a bit steep and can get slippery when wet. Something to note if your ability to climb stairs is limited or compromised.
Other than current renovations, which seem to be finishing, the location was peaceful and quiet. Not far from downtown Santa Rosa and plenty of stores for groceries or necessities nearby. Pack some basic cookware if planning to use kitchenette.

Room as not very clean. Old ketchup spill on table not cleaned off, which made me wonder how well everything else really was. Even so, the room smelled so strongly of disinfectant that it was almost unbearable to sleep the first night. We put out the "Maid Service" sign the second day but it was never cleaned. Right outside of our door under a balcony they were storing about 30 old lamps so it looked very trashy. There was a dead bolt lock but no security lock on the door. The refrigerator never got very cold. Also, one coffee pod for two people staying for three nights? At least they were nice and gave us as many as we wanted when we asked.
Front desk staff was amazing! He is so friendly, cheerful, kind and helpful. The location and price is great. It was quiet and the on property restaurant was very good.
