To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaAccessing the lounge and breakfast area isn't very easy from room. Ice machine was broken and loud, room directly across from it and other guests were loud about their frustrations with broken machine. Smells of marijuana were prevalent in the restrooms, despite it being a nonsmoking facility.
Location was ideal for walking to sightsee. Property was extremely clean.

TurkeyAC was so noisy and it was not possible to sleep with its noise. When i turn off it, the room was getting cold immediately:( They didnt clean the room 4days!! Unfortunately, it was not a comfortable stay. I preferred the hotel just bcs of the shuttle service to McCormick.

United States of AmericaStaff was not very friendly. We tried to check in an hour before our check-in time and they told us they would be charging us an extra $25. Although I understand that this is their policy, it seemed a bit ridiculous considering it was one hour out and the rooms were clearly ready. Their baggage room only holds baggage until 5 pm which is very inconvenient if you have them hold your bags prior to your check-in time and have plans until after 5 pm. For a hotel these both seemed a bit ridiculous.
Property is conveniently located and relatively clean.

United KingdomThe restaurant staff are great but the lobby staff looked like they didn't want to be there. Not much eye contact or a smile, we found that unusual for a front desk.
The room was great and tidy, there is a restaurant downstairs and shops nearby. The location is very good.

United States of AmericaIt was a plus having the Parking garage adjacent to the hotel, however, the price was high we were only there for 14 hours and the parking fee was over $20.I would hate to have to stay there multiple nights with that kind of fee. Also, we were not told when we checked in about needing to use our room key to operate the elevators after 8 pm. We had breakfast in the morning and were highly disappointed in the buffet. the eggs had no flavor, the bacon and sausage were cold, and the potatoes were lukewarm. My wife could eat what she originally selected and switched to oatmeal. We spoke to the manager who comped our meal. The waiter also provided good customer service and filled my travel mug with hot coffee before we left the hotel.
My wife and I booked a room in the late afternoon on a Saturday. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was accommodating and pleasant. The Webber Grill restaurant was nice we had dinner there and while prices were a little high it was very good and there was plenty to eat. I had meatloaf and my wife had trout. My wife had dessert. The waitress we a little less attentive than would be considered adequate but she was friendly. All in all a positive experience.

There is a notice that cleaning will happen every other day and we didn't put any signs on the door to prevent cleaning. We assumed it would happen at least once during our 4 night stay. For that price, we should not have had to ask for extra coffee or for the room to be cleaned.
The location was great and the front desk staff was very friendly.
