I was told that I had to pay for breakfast and there was an advertisement for happy hour and there was no happy hour on site.

Location, it was next to restaurants and convenience stores.

It is absurd for a hotel not to offer customers a receipt, whether on paper or by email. The worst part is that the customer has to keep begging for something that is rightfully theirs to find out how much they were charged. They still pass the responsibility for this receipt to booking.com. It's been 2 weeks since my company charged me for the receipt and I've been in contact with the hotel trying to receive this receipt.

Unfortunately there is a charge for breakfast but the location and hospitality at the hotel are great.

Unfortunately there was a hole in my curtains in the shower, the bathroom was a bit dirty and the sheets had a weird pee smell. I also got charged more than i got quoted and i am waiting to hear from the manager about that. Also the fridge doesn’t get cold :/

Shower wasn't very clean. A/C unit was very loud. Ending up turning it off as it kept waking me each time it flipped on. The elevators are sketch as the doors don't always open once you reach your floor. Thought I was stuck in them until I had the thought of hitting the open door button. The pool wasn't kept up well. First night, the jacuzzi was great. Second night after what I assume was heavy usage from other guests it was dirty and not warm at all. There was no housekeeping service. So I had no coffee the second morning.

Bed was very comfortable and room was spacious. Liked that there was a microwave in the room and the TV was nice and big with good pic quality. Wifi worked well.

Breakfast was a separate charge. They lost half of my reservation. Thankfully they had an extra room available.

Only reason we dropped points was because we got stuck in the elevator. Other families on our team trip got stuck also. Then they finally closed the elevators.

Hotel was nice. Staff was really helpful. Everyone was happy with the breakfast. Bartender stayed open late for our group so we could hang out.

Hilton Garden Inn San Jose/Milpitas and booking.com were not aligned. The hotel wanted to get also paid from me directly :-(

The only thing I can think of that could have been a lot better was the noise isolation. When the people next door spoke loudly, I could almost hear every word. And when the housekeeping started in the morning (around 9 am on the second floor), it felt like constantly having people at your door. It can be unsettling and disturbing if you're trying to get anything done, like work or take calls (or worse, sleep in).

Great place and value for money for this area. Comfy beds, decent size room and bathroom with tub. I liked the chair with the small laptop table in addition to the desk space. Did not try the gym, but the pool seems OK, and open from early to late. Good coffee options in the room and mini fridge with decent space for your own things. Seems very focused on cleanliness, saw several people cleaning each day. Staff was helpful.
