No luggage cart available when we got there, so we had to wait a long time to unload our luggage and go to our room. We asked again and were told that they couldn’t find one. We asked if anyone could help us get our luggage, but they said No. Eventually, they found one. The roll in shower was great but a fold out seat would have made it perfect. There weren’t extra blankets for the pull out couch.

The rooms were roomy. The restaurant and the shop were very reasonable. Good parking, pool area, and deck leading to Barry’s.

The television reception is not particularly good. On The Border is a restaurant that we have tried many times, but the food is not up to par with the Courtyard Marriott, so we only go to the bar.

We enjoyed the room and hot tub. The pool is too cold this time of year, but the hot tub was a delight.

Offer more than Mexican food. Better bar service. Often didn’t acknowledge new customers wanting a drink.

Gift shop was convenient. Laundry. Some machines didn’t work though. Chips and salsa at the bar.

The central air unit in our room was incredibly loud. It kept my wife awake almost the entire first night. Also the hallway servicing the first floor rooms that face the pool area is extremely noisy with housekeeping staff constantly rolling laundry carts through, talking loudly, running fans to dry the tiled floor, and accessing the housekeeping storage room (which was directly outside of our room)

One of the hot tubs was NOT hot. The pool needs to be a heated pool. It was very cold so my daughter and I couldn’t enjoy it. We are from Chicago where it’s cold so not being able to use the pool sucked.

I thought the umbrellas at the beach were complimentary but you had to pay for them. Pool is little for the size of the hotel.

I know that this backwards, but what I did like was that they changed the sheets everyday and the room was clean and bathroom as well. The hotel smelled clean. But the bathroom fan was very loud.

We had an ocean view, but the newly built bar on the beach obscured some of the view. I know many hotels allow pets, but I am uncomfortable with sleeping in a bed that someone's pet slept in.

The beds were very hard and squeaky. I think these were the worst hotel mattresses we’ve experienced. Also, the front desk told me I could have a late check out when I checked in because my checkout date was a Sunday. I was not given the late check out time so the next day I went back to the front desk and was told by a manager that late check outs were not possible because they were completely booked. I understand wing completely booked but why was I originally told a different answer? The clerk helping me even confirmed with his colleague that I could get the late check out.
