I was traveling to Albany but stayed in Troy so I could squeeze in a visit with family. The location was perfect and I would stay there again. The room was clean and roomy.

We took a king sized room first, but the toilet got clogged at 11PM. Not only was there no housekeeping staff on hand at that hour, but there wasn't even a plunger for me to use myself. The concierge moved us to the only available room, which was a double queen across the corridor. Yet there was almost no one in the hotel that night because it was Christmas Day evening, That room was OK, but the refrigerator condenser rumbled at night, and I had to turn it off until morning so my wife could sleep. The HVAC was set to provide heat only when the thermostat was set to 72 degrees. Below that, it turned to air conditioning. The fan had only one setting: loud. We turned it off for the night, which was just fine for us. It also seemed odd that there was almost no room on one side of one of the beds to get out of at night. If the furniture had been moved to the left even a foot, that would have solved the problem.

The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were clean. There were lights and the bedside just for reading, which was nice.

Exactly what we expected. Just needed a night’s sleep on a road trip. Next to a mall so we could get food.

The clock alarm went off at 530am. Woke myself and my sister up. Scared a bit until we realized what it was. Housekeeping should shut off the alarm when cleaning the room for new arrivals.

Love how close it is to RPI. Love the Sports Bar.

What I did not like is the price at the end of the week and cleaning courses every three days. The bathrooms need cleaning every day or two days at least. The water tasted and smelled strange in the hand-washing basin

The breakfast is good, the location of the hotel is vital, close to everything, banks, restaurants, and the bus station as well 😁

Did not have enough handicap parking spaces. And some of the non handicap spaces were closer to the entrance in the front of the building.

The price over the weekend was too high for one night🥴The price on Saturday night was $334. That's a lot

Awesome and the crew was very nice🥰They greeted me kindly and indicated what was available for breakfast and what I could order as a special request for breakfast.

The carpets on the stairs and dining area needed to be vacuumed as there was chips hair pens under the table in the waiting area by the couches and bits of trash on the steps. The headboard in my room also needed attention as there was visible dust.

The breakfast was excellent tasty and love that there was a variety. Rahayu (think I spelt her name incorrectly) she was very friendly and attentive in the dining hall. Stacey the front receptionist was also very friendly and helpful with the area and getting around.

When we first arrived at the location very early (11 am?) we had nothing better to do, so we visited the lobby and told the front desk that we had a reservation. She literally laughed at us and said come back at 3 pm. I realize we were early and didn't particularly expect a room to be ready, but usually in that circumstance we're greeted a little more cordially, maybe an "I can check for you..." or "When your room is ready we can send you a text" or even a "You can leave your bags here." Rarely a "Don't come back until the specified time." Also they seem very upchargey. $12.50 for breakfast? Would it have been included if we were in the club? When we got to the room there were bottles of water tagged "free for something something guests, $2.50 for everybody else." I have no idea what group or tier I'm in (if at all) so I had no clue if I was supposed to touch it.

Everything was generally pleasant. The place felt huge, definitely bigger on the outside than inside. Rooms and beds were comfortable, and the thermostat seemed reasonable. I've been in too many Goldilocks hotel rooms where it's either tooooo hot or toooooo cold and you wake up in the middle of the night messing with the thermostat so you can sleep. For whatever reason I didn't have that problem here, nor with flat pillows or itchy blankets. Slept through the night. Very refreshing.

I like that it was a pet friendly hotel. Unfortunately, having to be on the elevator with two guests with aggressive dogs was not pleasant and very scary.

Room was small and not very attractive given the high price paid.

The attached restaurant (Recovery Sports Bar) and pool were fantastic. Beds were comfortable. Front desk staff was friendly.

Not just the lack of free breakfast but the cost of the breakfast is absurd. The QR code in place of the standard pamphlet or book is useless. had a different price for the ridiculous cost of breakfast than what is actually charged and no menu if you did want to order and take back to room. Also charging a 12yr old the same as a 2yr old is absurd.
