To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaThe facilities need a good renovation. The room we were in the bathroom rail was hanging off, the balcony door was off track, which allowed a lot of cool air into the room, and some of the walls/furniture had scratches and dents.
I absolutely love Hilton properties, they are too tier in my book and the room having a balcony for fresh air was a plus!

NigeriaI was charged additional $150 dollars which the hotel deducted as caution charge which was to be refunded after checkout withour any damage or addtional expense. Also, the breakfast which I believe was part of my bill was to be charged for separetly and I didnt eat nor drink at the hotel. I have written a mail demanding for the refund which is yet to be done! Could you please assist in facilitating the refund of my money please.

Maybe needs some updating, ( I’m not sure how old it is) but overall it was very pleasant and clean and if I had to go back , I would stay there again. The balcony was a bit small . Only a standing balcony , not enough room for chairs. It was a little pricey , but being the Super Bowl was going on , we didn’t really have much choice.
I liked the property because the location was very nice and quiet , walking distance to the Galleria mall and the Waterwall. The staff was very accommodating……I was staying on the 13th floor (executive floor), so I don’t know if that had anything to do with it? However, the pool (2nd floor) was nice and quiet and I spent a few hours there each day. I did note that there were rooms that had sliding doors and a seating area that was surrounding the pool area, so I thought those rooms would have been nice to stay in. Also the Astros won the Superbowl the nights I was there, so the downtown area was madness and horrible (we visited to go to a wedding there), and so we were very glad NOT to be staying in the downtown area.(about 20 min away). Also we noted that the downtown and surrounding areas had many many homeless , bums etc, so that was kind of scary for us. ( it was our first visit to Houston and/or Texas so we weren’t that impressed honestly lol. ( I was traveling with my 20 yr old son for the wedding ).
