To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaFor the price, I think there should have been complimentary breakfasts and free parking. A pool would have been awesome as well. The room didn’t have a fridge or microwave which seemed a bit off from what I was used to with hotels.
The hotel was convenient to everything we were doing and very comfortable.

The staff allowed me to keep my car in the garage after checkout so we could go have lunch without looking for parking. 👍

United States of AmericaThe mattress and pillows were extremely soft. The restaurant was understaffed with the excuse that they were “unaware” of the event taking place next door. Our tickets were booked in November.
The location was great. We only had to walk next door for our show. The room was spacious and clean. Getting to park in an enclosed garage during a snow fall was even better - not having cleaning the car before leaving.

United States of Americaour small room was a corner room on third floor with small windows close to ceiling, that overlooked roof and a/c. it smelled of smoke even though it was non-smoking and there was a large red stain on rug next to right side of bed. walls were thin, and we could hear showers, blow dryers and all hallway noise.
