We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesThe AC didn’t get cold enough for our liking. It was like stuck at 71 degrees. Also, housekeeping came by twice when we were in our room around 9 am asking if we were leaving today. Just feel like that should be something they know and not something they are knocking on our door to ask.
The front desk staff was amazingly nice and friendly. The bed was comfortable.

United StatesLaundry room on 10th floor where the AC was broken, like trying to do laundry in a sauna. Dryers did not work. I booked through a third-party vendor where it was not made clear that breakfast was not included, and parking was paid. And while it is visible on the hotels website, I feel like those extra charges should have been clarified at the time of booking as I thought I was booking a hotel with free breakfast and free parking. Overall, the hotel is very dated, lots of minor damages that are visible but not really relevant if you’re just looking for a decent hotel near DC.
Very friendly staff, overall very clean facilities. Beds were comfortable and clean. Location is great. Pet friendly!

Great location close to the Metro. Excellent shower water pressure. Comfortable beds. Very good complimentary coffee in the mornings.

United StatesI could not adjust the thermostat, the temperature was stuck at 63 degrees despite turning on the heat. I finally had to turn everything off. The room smelled like cigarette smoke whenever the fan was on. The front desk staff were not very friendly although they did comply to my requests.
The location was very close to the Metro. There was a Wegmans a block away.

United StatesIt’s my fault to not thoroughly reading before booking. If I’m staying at your hotel and u have a parking spot, why am I paying $17 a nice a parking? Doesn’t make sense. The description also said 2 queen beds and I pull out sofa. No pull out sofa in sight. The room was small, the bathroom was small. The place was nice and neat, but a little outdated!
Close to the event I was attending. In a good area with stores around.

United StatesThe room was dirty, tgere was food under tge bed. sheets were dirty and had dirt in the bed under the covers! The thermostat was broken so the room felt like a sauna.
The location was good, we were in town for the parade. It was nit in a congested area which made it nice.
