Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The hotel was ideal for our stay. It was close to Lady Bird lake and adjacent to Rainey Street with its restaurants bars and nightlife.

There was a group of people staying in adjoining room and I could hear everything they said. Luckily they went to bed at a reasonable hour. It would really help to soundproof the door with some weatherstripping.
Great location on Town Lake with free parking. Clean. Comfortable. Convenient to many Austin highlights.

We were in the older building which is circular. This made the bathroom & closet on the smaller side. The door to the bathroom was frosted glass which let light shine through to the bedroom. This was annoying in the middle of the night and early morning.
The airport shuttle was very handy and a great help. The room was clean. Breakfast cost of $15 was reasonable. All staff we encountered were friendly. Great location.

Pool was a bit cold.
Mitchell and Nicholas were very helpfull at the front desk. Adrian in the breakfast area was very professional and friendly. The shuttle driver was excellent.

free breakfast would have been appreciated. Freeway noise noticeable about 4:30 am both mornings.
Used the free shuttle from the airport. Room was clean, comfortable, good size, nice amenities. Staff was polite but sent us to the wrong tower after check in. Breakfast was available for purchase but did not use. Location was close to trail along the river/lake. Maybe a 15 min walk to downtown. No issues with Uber pick up/drop off.

The room definitely feels dated. The TV is tiny, the furniture is a very old style, and the bathroom is not very nice. The breakfast is $15 and isn't much more than a free Continental breakfast.
It has free parking and it's easy to get to.

It was a little further to walk back to from Rainey street than I had realized, but this is not a deal breaker and is more on me and my lack of knowledge of the area than on the hotel.
We had a short stay to meet up with our college student. We wanted a hotel near Rainey street so we could walk to the bars there. The hotel was easy to get to from i35. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The bar at the hotel was great. The room had everything we needed for our short stay. plenty of parking - spots were tight especially if driving a truck.

The second room I booked when I decided to stay an extra night was too loud due to the highway traffic even if it was up on the 12th floor. My noise machine wasn't loud enough to tune out the noise made by the cars.
The location was close to downtown, and some trails, plus walking access to Rainey St. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. They offered complimentary parking which is GREAT if you are traveling by car. The room was well-maintained and clean. The curtains did block a good amount of sunlight so you could sleep a little later.

Decent business hotel 20mins walk from the city. Room was clean, probably a bit noisy as the place is next to the highway. Gym is well-maintained!

The parking was tight and if you missed the entrance you have to get all the way back on the highway and turn around to get back to it. Kind of a congested area for such a large hotel. Also there was a really bad smell coming in from parking garage and in elevators. Maybe trash should be taken care of more often.
We slept comfortably, hallway noise was low
