Our room was close to a busy street and that there was not good insulation so you could hear everything. Also the windows did not have enough coverage for privacy.

The bed was so comfortable that I slept really good however, our room was so close to a busy street that you could hear all the activity that was going on like the garbage truck picking up the trash which was pick up day at 3 am. The breakfast was also good. Love thelocation. We just walked going to the aquarium. Lots of restaurant closed by. The hotel were undergoing construction when we were there. It was nice of the hotel to informed us in advance of this information.

That we were on the first floor.but they were in the middle of construction.and did try to keep it between the hours of 9 am and 4 pm

Even with an elevator, we still had to walk up/down short flight to get to room, carrying luggage. Loud pipes in bathroom for showers, sinks. Curtains were stationary and didn't permit blocking lights outside.

Room size was excellent, bed was comfortable.

Not stroller friendly for my infant, at least on the 3rd floor where I was staying. The elevator took u up to the floor and then you have to go down about 6 feet of stairs to get to the room. There is also ongoing renovations.

Good area with self parking and a good variety of breakfast items in the mornings. They have dove soap, shampoo and conditioner already in the bathrooms. Friendly staff.

Breakfast isn’t great - leathery scrambled eggs and some equally leathery bacon. It isn’t ideal but it does the job - coffee not great, but we mostly grabbed fruit and juice to get us going for the day (it was similar to another holiday in express we stayed in, seems to be the standard poor breakfast across sites)

Free handy parking on site was really helpful Rooms are basic but nicely furnished, pretty courtyard and beds very comfortable. Really nicely located next to all the best parts of Monterey. Receptionist friendly at check in too.

Accessibility was awkward. We were traveling with luggage and had to hand carry items from our cart to get to our room that was located a half level from the elevator.

Great little spot, friendly and helpful staff, room was all we needed for exploring the area. Breakfast was an excellent bonus without having to go and find something elsewhere before a day out. Tea & coffee station as well.

The people in the room next to us were loud and slamming the door every little bit, it actually shook our bed one time when they did it. That's not the hotels fault tho. It was the inconsiderate people in the room.

The location is perfect! Close to the beach, close to all the restaurants and shops. Breakfast was free. There's am amazing coffee shop across the street. Right next to the Antique mall. Free parking is a plus, other hotels on cannery row charge at least $25 for parking

The parking garage seems to be in the middle of repairs, wasn’t blocking anyone from parking but did make it look a little shuffled

Probably our corner room was a bit dark and under the road behind which made it quite noisy. But the room itself was roomy and clean so it didn’t matter much.

Location, breakfast was great, clean accommodation, friendly staff and the fact we could make a cup of tea or coffee at the coffee station provided. That was a great additional service.
