The house could be a bit more back from the road. The views were still great!!

The house was very clean and pretty. Loved the decor. I liked that you can sit on the back deck and see the beautiful mountains. Enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub.

We loved the location and the view was peaceful and bucolic⛰️. The perfect spot for our Luray Caverns trip. We forgot our pillows and the hosts let us know right away but we had already started driving to our next destination. Long story short, they graciously mailed them back and were very kind throughout the entire process! If we are ever back this way, we’d stay again for sure!

Honestly there was nothing not to like!

Everything was beautiful inside and out! Very clean and well stocked in the bathroom and kitchen appliances/utensils. This was our first experience with an air bnb type of place and it was absolutely amazing. Thank you guys so much, my family and I really enjoyed it!!

No big deal, but a curtain that went all the way across the bedroom patio doors would be nice. It gets bright in the bedroom early.

The views are beautiful. The house is cozy and new. The gas log fireplace was the icing on the cake. Good central location to the things we wanted to do.

We loved the views, the coziness of the home. The fully stocked kitchen. And the hot tub! My children were able to ride their bikes on the driveway. Overall this was a fantastic experience!

Road noise

This place exceeded my expectations. We came for a quick weekend getaway but I could have stayed there much longer. The house is gorgeous and the hosts made it very welcoming. We have rented many houses for vacation but this was the first to truly have everything you need along with some extras you might need. We will definitely be back.

I can not say enough good things about Holly Tree Retreat. Arriving at Holly Tree was the most pleasant surprise. The cleanliness and the amenities were exceptional! The host thought of absolutely everything you would need for your stay. The kitchen was fully stocked including spices . The bathroom was stocked with lots of towels,shampoo and body wash. Holly Tree was so cozy and comfortable with the best view of the mountains. The hot tub was an added treat. Holly Tree was very close to everything we wanted to visit also. Our host Jennifer was also very accommodating and friendly. You won't be disappointed!!

We LOVED everything about this house. The location, view, amenities - all spectacular. When we arrived I was pleasantly surprised by how immaculate and clean it was! I'm usually really skeptical of home rentals due to past experiences with houses that weren't very clean, I even bring my own cleaning supplies with me fully expecting to do a one over when I arrive and this is the first home I've rented that I didn't feel the need to sanitize! This property also comes with every and anything you could possibly need for your stay, from shampoo/conditioner right down to the skewers to roast marshmallows over the fire pit out back!! The hosts were super to deal with, very accommodating and answered any and every question promptly. We will absolutely be back because of our amazing experience ❤️

The property had absolutely beautiful views and felt like a secluded getaway, but was conveniently located, 5 min from a Walmart and Food Lion, 15 minutes from Shenandoah National Park, 10 minutes from Luray Caverns. The home was clean and cozy. The fully equipped kitchen was amazing. My family of 4 (two children 9 and 7 years old) were so comfortable here! We loved the hot tub, fire pit, pond, Smart TV, grill, etc. The owners were very responsive to all inquiries. We will definitely stay here again if we vacation in this area again!
