There are no baseboards along the main hallway, which makes it look rundown. The room was not clean enough there were 2 large sticky spots on the floor that we cleaned up, and a few sticky spots on the island that we had to clean, gross! The chairs at the island were covered in stains and marks, really really gross! We had to cover the chairs with towels to bear sitting on them! The Teflon coated pan we received to use was so scratched, it was completely unusable. There were no serving bowls available, no measuring cups/spoons, no dishwashing soap, no dishwasher detergent, no garbage disposal. The bed in the pull out couch had saggy springs that sank in spots. The breakfast was a little sparse, just blueberry or chocolate muffins, coffee, and oatmeal. There are not enough towel racks to hang towels. The room sleeps 6 people, and there were only 2 towel hooks!

We loved that the bus stop was very close to the hotel. We really liked the amount of counter and cabinet space in the kitchen. The beds were quite comfortable. Water pressure was good, plenty of hot water when we needed it. Loved the large countertop space in the bathroom! The silverware and dishes (except for the pan) were in good shape. The couch and the coffee table were in good shape. The heater worked very well! The staff was very helpful anytime we asked for anything. Our refrigerator was a good size and very clean, it kept the food cold, and the freezer kept the food frozen.

we were not allowed to use the restrooms after checkout while waiting for airport transfer. lid to bathtub didn’t work, not even after it had been replaced so we couldn’t use the bathtub, and firealarm went off in all the rooms if someone didn’t do their cooking right in one room.

Breakfast was not great. No bowls for cereal. No cover for hot cups. Just muffins n snack bars. They had water leak days before whole place had floor fans. They don't clean rooms every day either. Room was OK but it was handicap. Shower had no doors only curtain thus water did get on floor. Won't stay again.

Breakfast was very poor. The noise of the road passing by the hotel can be heard very clearly from the room due to poor sound insulation

I did not like anything

Customer service was very rude and was not friendly I had a booking with them to stay there and I was in therapy and they said they did not see my booking and if I did not come there by 3:00 they was going to give away my room but I was there the night before housekeeper took my personal item.

The room smelled like someone previously had smoked in it, there was a stain on the sheets. Other than that, it was pretty clean.

The mattress of the sofá bed was not confortable. The fire alarm ring at 12h30 at night because we put some heater. So we had to sleep without heater. We left many cheeses from Spain in the fridge when we left. And It was a gift for my parents. I called at 11h, 2 hours after we left the hotel, to ask to keep It for us as we had to come back in 2 weeks. They said that if they find It they Will call us. They never called us and I wrote two times and they never answer my messages! The cheeses were in the fridge, of curse they found It!!

Wifi was not working in the room and the staff didn’t give any wifi extender that could be used. Toilet in the room was blocked and wasn’t working well. We had to ask for a plunger and clean it after every use. The heater in the room was too noisy. Sofa bed had very thin mattress. There were just muffins for breakfast and oats with hot water. Coffee was running out all the time and staff had to refill it many times. Overall it was not a good stay.

We waited 25 minutes at the front desk, waiting for someone to come and check us in. We tried calling the security number for assistance, but it rang to the front desk where again no one was manning. Sleep sofa mattress was old and not comfortable. Website said free breakfast. We had to ask for more coffee, and the only food offered was muffins. That to me is not breakfast. When checking out, the employee didn't even ask how our stay was. Just took our key cards that said all set. Poor experience!!

Dusty room, the refrigerator not getting my drinks cold enough, microwave has rust inside, room wasn't clean enough, it had hair and dirt on the floor, the swimming pool not in operation which wasn't mentioned on the website when I booked the room, the gym is not a gym, it only had 2 machines to walk on, the breakfast is not as expected, to go breakfast.

The ownership here should be ashamed of their property. They have a wonderful hotel with good bones in a great location, but it feels like corporate hasn't invested in updating since the 90s (or at least since the 90s were still in fashion). Tile floors in our room were uncomfortable and cold. The sofa bed was surprisingly a single bed, which the hotel recommended for tweens. The size of the sofa bed was left out of the room description. The main bed was a good size, but the mattress was old and sagging. The shower handle literally came off in our hands. The paint is not dirty so much as stained and peeling. Clearly housekeeping is doing a great job under less than ideal circumstances. The "breakfast to-go" is just a mini (not even full-sized) Otis Spunkmeyer muffin and a granola bar (from Nature Valley where they have only one bar in a packet instead of two). Let me reiterate, then, how amazing the staff is in this situation by maintaining their friendly and authentic demeanor, so obviously corporate is at least doing that right because they have hired and retained excellent folks to deal with the underfunding of the building. What is amazing is that we paid extra to stay here for the kitchenette, but the hotel was so uncomfortable that we didn't want to stick around for our meals so it didn't matter. Also, you have to request cooking items if you want to use the kitchen, because even that is the subject of under-investment. There aren't even cups in the room unless you request them.

The location is just 20 minutes by bus from port authority (can't get much better than that), and the staff were amazing. Despite many problems with the building being under-invested, the staff were always smiling and genuinely engaged with solving problems.

It was advertised as "Breakfast include" and has a "pool." These were important to us. The breakfast was IMMENSELY DISAPPOINTING; it should not have been called a breakfast. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and granola bars. They said that they offered (hot) oatmeal - meaning packets to which you add hot water - there were none. The reason we wanted "breakfast included" was not to be cheap but to be convenient: We didn't want to have to go OUT to eat breakfast. Of course, given what they offered, we did have to go out. The pool was also important to us - and was closed for renovations. So the two things we searched for - effectively - were not there. Bad. I was too kind in my rating.
