There was no option to just have a single room, but otherwise everything was great.

Location was a huge plus and daily breakfast included was fantastic. Our rooms were clean and staff were very helpful.

One of the showers and a wc were out of order. For a whole floor they ought to be more stalls.

The rooms were as expected, with good heating and air conditioning. The bed was clean and comfortable. They provided a good complementary continental breakfast. Every night had events in the lounge, and we had a buffet of Chicago Hotdogs while playing pool and table tennis. The staff was helpful with directions around Chicago, and the hostel was a great venue for meeting people and making friends!

Such a close walk to the Arts institute. You have the ability to socialize with other guests or be left on your own. I love this hostel. The staff couldn’t be more kind and helpful.

This time our room was really cold. We were able to get extra blankets, but still ended up sleeping in our coats. I hadn’t had this issue there before so it may have been that particular room. I mentioned it at the desk as we got an extra blanket, but not sure it was taken seriously. I may not have been strong enough when telling them how cold it really felt , but still feel it should have been addressed somehow other than just with an extra blanket.

I love the location and generally is a great place to stay compared to other hostels I have been to. I like that the shared bathrooms are closer to the sleeping areas and how they set up the rooms there.

I had to change rooms. The upper bunk is not comfortable as the ceiling light flashes in your face. There is no way to stop that. I had to change rooms, which hapoened only on the second day of my stay.

The location and breakfast was good, rooms were fine too.

The hotel staff at the lobby were a bit unpleasant. There is a fee for baggage storage of 4$ per item.

Sadly, breakfast got empty quickly, so if you go near the end of the breakfast period, there may only be some stuff left. The location can feel a bit unsafe at night, but that is the area, not the hostel. There were two shower and toilet stalls each and one shower was broken. I never had to wait, though.

The location was excellent, right in the loop. Breakfast was also good, there was porridge, bagels, bananas, apples, muffins and some stuff to put on toast and bagels. The room was good, the bunk beds had two pillows, there were towels and curtains.

The room seemed very spacious and tidy, each bed comes with a curtain for some privacy, different types of sockets, USB ports, and individual lights. Additionally, lockers can be found to store your valuables, for which you must bring your own padlock. The common areas are very well decorated and the kitchen is fully equipped. Breakfast was also more abundant than expected.

The coffee of the breakfast was to bitter. Even though it is a personal taste, the coffee was far from the regular taste... still, nothing to avoid you to stay at this hostel.

It is awesome! the room is spacious. Also, no complaint about the cleanness. The breakfast is fair for what you pay for.

One side of the hotel is close to train tracks. Fun to see the trains, but they run all night and are loud. Used earplugs at night and did not sleep well.

Location and cost were good. First time at Hostel, and it was fun to be with fellow travelers. Easy access to coffee was a plus. Did feel secure and safe.

Our room was *freezing*. I don't think there was any heat to it. The highs during our stay were mostly 30s-40s, and I suspect what little heat we had was just from heat elsewhere in the building. They offered us another room, but we didn't want to risk getting one without natural light, which was unappealing. (Someone else said their room was hot - go figure). The one bathroom for the four rooms in our group was small but sufficed for the few people there. I don't think our pod had any multi-bunk rooms. The shower was like a tomb though - very small and poorly lit. Also - I had looked forward to being able to use our group kitchen, but it was still disabled, with no dishes. Only the main second floor kitchen was functional.

Excellent location for what we needed (Auditorium Theater and blue line from O'Hare, also close to bus to the zoo and walkable to some other things). Breakfast was limited but okay. Felt safe/secure. Nice common areas. Provided plenty of pillows as well as extra blankets as needed. Clean room. We had an exterior room with windows (vs the center floor rooms).

Outlets didn't have a holder for the phone. Not that many showers available.

Great beds with a privacy curtain and bedside outlet. Nice common room and organized activities during the whole week. Convenient location near the L and in the Loop. Walking distance from the Cloud Gate (aka the Bean)
