Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The outlet in the bathroom didn’t work at all. Couldn’t even reset it. Carpet in the room didn’t look too clean. I could hear people out in the parking lot talking.
The bed was great. I slept really well.

There was so much chlorine in the pool, my daughter ended up having a bad reaction.
The staff was great and the breakfast was on point.

Breakfast was the same thing both days. Could have changed out the meat. Maybe added some potatoes. Extend the hours to 10am on the weekend.

The room location was less than great. The hallway smelled like chlorine and there were constantly people being loud either upstairs when I was trying to sleep or slamming doors and running in the hallway in the morning.
Location was perfect and the hot breakfast was a great way to start the day. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Carpets in the room were extremely unclean. Walking on them was an icky experience. Price for the room was high, for what you got.
A very ordinary motel. Quiet enough to get a good night’s sleep. Turner Classic Movies on the TV.

Our room adjoined to another room next door. The noise was pretty loud until later than we like! Next time we will remember to ask for a room that is not joined to another.

Everything was great except the bathroom sink, which would not drain. We couldn’t call to get it fixed because we had a small dog with us And did not want to have somebody coming to the room when we weren’t there so we had to deal with it for the weekend.

The pool room needs a major upgrade for the pool and hot tub dirty and loudest hot tub I ever heard. The upstairs ice machine being not only broken but leaking water that they just let sit. But these are all my complaints there's way more good than bad why I gave you guys a 9 if you had a decent pool room and different stuff for breakfast each morning this is a upper end 3 star hotel.
The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were nice the breakfast was nice.

Note I said the location is MOSTLY great- the property is accessible via stroad and adjacent to a bridge over a freeway, making the vicinity unpleasant to walk through. There's not an awful lot one can do about this. Other than that - we stayed 2 days and noted that they do not rotate sausage with bacon, instead serving only sausage. I was somewhat disappointed!
I enjoyed specifically that they have a dispenser of lemon water in the lobby at all times, lmao. Also having a red velvet option for the breakfast waffle. The room was good (Though I remember the TV menu being finicky?) and had both a fridge and microwave if memory serves. Location is mostly great- there's a bunch of restaurants, gas stations, and a Meijer nearby.
