We had to ask for toilet paper at the office as there was only one roll that had about a 1/4 of the roll remaining. The ice machine was also broken, but again, the office was able to provide a bag upon request. No microwave in the room, but there was one in the lobby that we used once to heat up some leftovers.

It’s an older property, but that just meant more charm for me. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. There was a sweet little courtyard outside our room with tables and chairs. It was a great place to sit in the morning in the sunshine and sip coffee. Good selection of breakfast pastries, nice swimming pool where we dipped our feet in after a long day of walking around historic SLO. Very quiet surroundings, close to and easy access to highway 101.

For $200+ a night, they are cheap on the “breakfast”. Muffins, fruit, cold cereal. Why is it so hard to get eggs, sausage, bacon, or one of those “flip” waffle makers any more?!

I prefer no carpeting and there was in the room. I selected this hotel on the very good reviews- I agree with them.

I liked the staff, elevator, a/c, coffee in the lobby until 11:00 PM, the comfortable bed as well as the bathroom. Also, I was able to get a quiet corner room as requested.

I didn’t really see the need for the $100 deposit but it was returned promptly.

The room was spacious. Staff was helpful. I liked being able to park my car in a covered garage. I didn't get a chance to get in the pool or jacuzzi. Will definitely make time for it next time.

Property was clean. Location close to campus and downtown. Quiet stay. Price was good. 2nd hotel I’ve stayed at in the area and this was better than the last.

I advised I did not have the credit card on hand that was used to book the stay(as it was through Klarna). I was advised a credit card just needed to go on file. Later, I was told by the party who booked the room, that the Klarna transaction was canceled and my credit card was charged $412 instead. This was a birthday gift set up by someone else, so I was disappointed that I end up paying for the room myself.

The staff at check-in was very nice and helpful. He provided a beach recommendation that I found useful and enjoyable.
