Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Double beds instead of queen. We couldn't take drinks in plastic cups in the pool area. Breakfast was ok. Nothing special, like most other places.

The pillows on the bed were very small. I'm used to a smaller flat pillow but these were more like a throw pillow.
The location, nice big shower, public hot tub was nice.

there was an older lady that worked around 4am and she was just down right rude. I remember her from our last satay there too and she was just as unpleasant.
I love how nice most the staff is and accommodating to my family and I.

Both comforters were just okay. First was stained second has cigarette burns.

Sometimes it is difficult to get necessary repairs to the room completed. For example, the bathroom light didn't work and the shower door handle was loose. Also, I couldn't get the sound on the TV to work and neither could the front desk staff.
The staff are very friendly. They greet you by name and welcome you. The location is great. The rooms are comfortable. The beds are good.

Room was clean except the floor just outside the shower. It left dirty streaks on the bottom of the bath mat. Lady behind the desk refused to extend our check out time by one hour (from 11 AM to noon.) I have seldom requested a late check out, but the when I did it was never refused.
Good sized room except the bathroom/shower. Comfortable beds. A/C works good. Room was clean except the floor just outside the shower. It left dirty streaks on the bottom of the bath mat.

The hotel is a bit dated but nothing terrible and I believe they have started the process. Removing carpet and maybe updating shower area would be a good place to start. Also, checking safety concerns, making sure all doors lock would be a good idea.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and convenient.

I didn’t like my room overlooking the pool. The pillows were small and the clocks were to bright. Sole petty. But not a fan of the room.

It needs repair. Exterior door lock broken and removed. Room 203 door did not close properly. Room infested with potato/stink bugs. Unfinished wall in dining area. Dining area very small and some breakfast appliances were not operational.

Better breakfast selection, bathroom light that didn't automatically turn on exhaust fan, extra blankets, since room did get cold. Yet, it really was quite nice & not overly priced. I felt that this was an ideal place to stay when visiting the area.
The breakfast could be more, such as: more selection, drinks (water, coffee, juice, pop), breakfast items (sandwiches to be microwaved, etc...). Overall it was better than I expected. Quite comfortable beds, everything was very clean, and staff very nice & helpful. If you want to stay at motel where you are not overly spending money to stay comfortably, this is definitely worth it. And if you need a swim, the pool is kept up very well. I really cannot complain.
