Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesWhen I first got to my room I was extremely happy. I just got out of a place that was just one room and Management left a lot to be desired. The t room was for my daughter and myself and our 2 dogs. When we registered iaskrd if I could add another person (my son) who has been sleeping in his car for two weeks with his dog. We were all homeless because they sold the house where we rented the apt in. And we had to get out. The girl at the desk told me that I had a couch that opened up to a bed so my son could stay. But there was a 2 limit pet policy. . So my son said no he would stay in his car. My son, my daughter and I are all disabled and it was evident just to see my son hunched over from the pain in his back. The girl let the dog stay as long as we paid for her also. I can't tell you how much I appreciated her understanding. . We made sure that we took care of and cleaned up after the dogs all the time we got to know some of the other tenants and we were all friendly and comfortable with each other. All was great.meanwhile I kept looking for a place to live with no luck. Then I read a call saying I had to check out. I asked if s he got any c complaints she said no but she couldn't let the dog stay any longer. Deep down I wanted to ask her if she would like to come and tell me which one I should get rid of. I am 77 yrs old, disabled and the only ones I have are my 2 kids who are also disabled and our pets who are well behaved, trained and give us the love and support we need to get through the hard times. If a place is going to advertise PET FRIENDLY. Then they should be pet friendly. I have been looking for a home now for a year and I have had no luck. I have called every gov. Program and applied for each and every one of them with no help to find. Housing has no such thing as EMERGENCY housing any more and when you call for help you get there is no housing available right now. Also section 8 is a long waitung list.

United KingdomStaff weren't particularly friendly, my train got me into the area at 2pm & I couldn't drag my case around so went straight to hotel. I except check in is 3pm but when the room is ready & there are numerous rooms available I couldn't see the harm. She literally made me wait, sitting in reception to exactly 3pm.
Nice size room, kitchen area, comfortable bed. Everything was clean.

United StatesThe hallways had an awful smell- but the rooms were fine. It’s also very noisy, our neighbors all around us we’re constantly loud all hours of the night.
Close to Salem and Boston, and just half an hour from the airport! The front desk ladies were the sweetest and so helpful. We had issues with our original hotel and ended up with nowhere to stay Halloween week in Salem, but luckily they had availability and were more than accommodating to us :) Nice large rooms, and for the most part clean.

United StatesThere were no chairs for the kitchen table. Just 1 office chair on wheels. The sofa sleeper was difficult to open and close because sofa hardware is in poor shape. The bathroom exhaust fan doesn't work and the vent is dirty. The kitchen table is supported on 1 end with a 3 drawer base cabinet. All 3 drawers are warped and cannot be opened. The kitchen table sags about 6" at the center of the table. You can't really eat there.
1 Bedroom suite with kitchen for a good price. Kitchen supplies are available as needed. Staff quickly supplied any items requested. Bedroom TV did not work. Staff quickly replaced it. Front desk has change available for laundry room.

United StatesThere was a really odd smell in the hallway, at least on our floor. I figured someone might have cooked something but the smell never went away.
The room was plenty big enough for the three of us. Worked very well for our purpose.

United StatesThe kitchen counter in the room was bowed and the kitchenette was outdated. The staff seems to make do with what little they have. I heard customers at counter asking for a refund due to lack of hot water. I’m optimistic and saw that as therapeutic, no problem and it was fixed the next day.
We kept it down to coffee and tea. The other offerings weren’t appetizing.

United StatesThe ac in the bedroom didnt work that great. One of the washing machines broke while I was using it but the staff helped me re wash my clothes. I also wouldve loved a pool...there was really nothing to do on site. But for the price you really can't go wrong. Also do not count on the breakfast that is included...there really wasnt much.
I was very pleased with the cleanliness and functionality of the suite I rented. The staff were great. Super helpful and accommodating.

United StatesI marked the booking for 3 people and 2 beds but fot a room with one bed and a pull out couch. The mattress for the pull out couch was filled with stains and was completely disgusting. Did not get any sort od sheets or blankets for the 3rd person so had to keep going downstairs to get the items that were missed such as pillows and an extra hand towel to bathe. The room looked like someone was angry at it as there are 2 holes on the tv stand and two on the top right corner above the cabinets on the kitchen wall. The water pressure of the shower was extremely weak as well. Avoid room 311 if possible.
The front desk rep, Andrew was very nice and helpful.
