Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room was filthy and unsecured due to a broken door latch lock. Water pressure sucked and only one towel .
The contracting website made mistakes and the staff corrected them.

Door key didn't work, whole place smelled of smoke, burnt holes on comforter, stains on towels, stains on tub, anyone with pet allergies be aware.

The room was dirty - The bedspread and sheets were stained - furniture was run down and stained - The bathroom was particularly disturbing, with pubic hair in the shower, shaving hairs on one wall of the shower, and an inch of dust along the top of the tile of the shower - our original room's air conditioner wasn't working, though the air conditioning was sufficient in the second room - at no cost would I choose to stay here again
The staff was friendly and responsive - when are AC wasn't working in our original room, we were able to switch to a room where the air conditioning was working better

The room was dirty, shower had brown spots everywhere, pillows had a bit of a smell to them. I had to wipe down dressers and counters because they were covered in a sticky residue.

The beds were so uncomfortable that we thought about setting our air mattress up but didn’t have room
The room was very dated, and needed a good scrub down. I wish I knew when booking that if you have dogs with you, you’ll be staying in an old, run down room with gross thin comforters.

Front desk was rude, room had sticky stains on carpet, hair all over bathroom, wall paper was literally falling off the walls... I knew going in it was a 2 star... figured it was dated.. which is cool.but dirty and falling apart. Not acceptable.

We had a room with 2 beds. We had one wash cloth, one hand towel and 2 bath towels. My wife went to the front desk to get anther wash cloth and was told we were allowed only one per room. The rooms are cleaned once every 3 days, so if you leave early you must use the wet bath towel from the day before.

Security door lock broken, fist hole in bathroom door, carpet throughout room dirty, cigarette smoke smell in bathroom, hallway & elevator, bathroom vent filled with lint and dirty, carpet coming unglued along bathroom wall in room, broken light on night stand.
Bed was comfortable and rooms were very quiet .

the toilet leaked, the door handle was dirty. My phone was blinking as if there was a msg but the staff didn't know how to fix it, so I suggested just unplug it. And at check out they couldn't provide a receipt. when I asked if there is a Starbucks close by, the staff said we don't like Starbucks as they contribute to BLM and we're conservative here in Nampa.

room is old, curtains barely hanging on the rod, tv only worked by us having to push buttons on the side of the tv, remote control wasn't working. water leaked in the tub. very noisy with doors opening and closing all night, other guest were very loud, playing music, yelling.
