The check-in is a little bit difficult, you need to check in by the hotel next door it’s on a sign on the gate but when we arrived the gate was open so we missed the sign. If the mention that clearly on the site there is no problem, more people where searching when we were sitting outside for a drink.

The location is great nice big room with a big bathroom. Just a minute away from the beach and ocean drive.

Advertising that the property has “24 customer service” is far from the truth! Phone calls, messages or emails were never answered in my time of need. I strongly recommend advertising that the property is actually managed by LaFlora hotel next door.

Watch out for the Italian restaurant right next door. While the food was excellent, when we were going thru the check-in process for the hotel, the gentlemen out front of the restaurant, trying to drum up business, told us we would get a 50% discount due to staying at the hotel. Our group of 8 chose to dine there. When the bill came it was a little over $700.00! When I inquired about the discount, the waitress went & checked with him & came back & told us it was 15%, not 50. Several people in our group heard him state 50% in our original conversation. I understand that some may think we "misunderstood" him, but I specifically got him to repeat it to me in our initial conversation. As I said, the food was very good. We did enjoy the meal & the service was excellent. We just weren't expecting that kind of bill & were a little taken back by it. Would we eat there again? No. But, if you don't mind the expense, it was really nice & delicious.

I was concerned about the check in process as we were told on the front end that check-in would be down a couple of doors from the hotel as it did not have its own hotel check in desk on property. Upon arrival, it was an easy process & I would not let that deter me from staying here again. There are no elevators to get from the ground floor to your room. We were traveling with a total of 8 adults with luggage for an 8-day cruise. Lugging all of the luggage up the stairs for a one-night stay was a little a little much, but we managed.

The Entrance in the Restaurant should be mentioned The Guy Esteban at the Reception was not good. He didn’t show up for 20 Minutes, he seemed Tired, not helpful, not very friendly. Not even a smile. I called the phone number while waiting. No response. After a 12hrs flight not good.

Collins Avenue und next to Ocean Road. Cool.

-the safe did not work - The coffee machine did not work -the fridges temperature was hotter then outside. The telephone did not ring to reception And if you need reception you have to go to the hotel next door

We had a room right next to the courtyard and experienced quite a lot of noise every night. The music of the restaurant next door was loud, but stopped at a reasonable hour. Other guests talking all night, shouting, arguing, while smoking weed, caused us not to sleep at all. Earplugs couldn't even cancel this noise, because they were so loud. When we mentioned this to the hotel staff, they simply said 'these things happen'. Very unprofessional, since people pay a hotel to be able to sleep somewhere?! The room could also use new window blinds. The lights from the courtyard shone straight into our room.

Neither television worked in our room. The couch looked a little disheveled. I wasn’t as comfortable as I was at La Flora their sister hotel.

Gorgeous bathroom, I booked the room for the bathtub Extra security with key card access into garden area leading to the hotel. The garden was a beautiful touch & of course there’s seating to enjoy it. I also liked the overlook to the garden area from our suite. It’s not private but that was okay in this case.

there was a lot of noises going on in the hotel. was woken up every morning by a loud ringing sound. people constantly yelling in the hallways at all times of the night. the air was really loud and very cold when on but when off it was very hot.

how close the beach was, there was lots of food options and easy to get around. given clean beach towels everyday and could choose from different chairs or umbrellas for the beach. the man at the front desk was very nice and helpful.

There was a parking lot next to the property. The only trouble was that for my last in Miami, there were no spaces available and I had to park on the street. The next morning it was Monday and my car got towed to the impound lot. It was at the worst possible time since my flight was leaving later that evening. Thankfully, the receptionist let me use the phone so I could dial the appropriate people. It would be nice if there was some extra parking. In the room, the AC works, but is rather loud. Bed was a little too stiff for my liking, but they can't please everyone. I won't harp on this. TV had no signal, but that wasn't important. If you have a smartphone, the sky's the limit in terms of in-room entertainment. Lighting in the centre of the room was lacking, but it gets sufficient sunlight during the daytime.

Its location on Collins Avenue is really convenient. I could literally walk right to South Beach, a number of restaurants and some clubs. Could hail a taxi in due time. The bathroom is really gorgeous and spacious. I love how Impala is written below the sink. Room felt small, but it was all the space I needed. Most everything in Miami is absurdly overpriced. I'm glad this hotel wasn't.

No elevator so luckily my husband was able to carry the luggage up and down the stairs. We had our son traveling with us so paid for a suite for 3 but there were only towels for 2 and the sofa bed was not made so I had to walk to the office to get those items.

Check in process could have been MUCH better. This hotel's check in / staff concierge is a couple doors up. There is no one in the hallway of Impala itself. While checking out, a guy named "Michael" was quite rude with my husband.. telling him they charge $5 / bag to hold in the bell room after checking out as our flight was later in th evening. Super absurd, disappointing behaviour.. when I went down and diffused him a little, he didn't mention any of this to me and proceeded to show us the bellroom. Lol.

You can't beat this location for this price! It is almost in the centre of South Beach.. walking distance to EVERYTHING fun around there - beach, restaurants, Espanolita Way, Art Deco attractions etc. The rooms were well appointed, King size bed was comfortable and the bathroom was pretty big. Almost no noise at night, was a bonus!
