Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BulgariaAlthough frontal, the hotel has no easy access to the beach and we had to walk around some of the other large properties nearby to gain access. Despite the room being quite spacious, there was no proper bed, but one of those which folds in the wall. It wasn't the most comofrtable one and there were no sockets near it to charge our electronics. The studio comes with a huge terrace with two loungers... which overlooks a full concrete wall with no direct sunshine at any point in the day.
As far as the Honolulu resorts go, this one delivered in almost all aspects. It is located in the best part of town, with plenty of amenities and some of the best bars and restaurants in the vicinity. Our room was in fact a full studio with a kitchen, with plenty of space. Honolulu is not good value for money in general, but you will struggle to find a better located hotel for the same amount.

AustraliaOur room had a Murphy bed (pull down from wall). Check this info when selecting your room type.
Easy check in. Hotel well located to beach (Fort DeRussey). Easy walk to other Waikiki beach areas, shops etc. ABC store located underneath hotel and good for shopping, food etc. Nice, quieter part of Waikiki.

Great location. Amazing view! We are lucky enough to be on the 24th floor with an ocean view - spectacular. Loved the free lei making classes. The staff were very accommodating and the rooms are comfortable and clean.

United States of AmericaIt does need some updating…carpets and ceilings. The pool area is small and you really have no view from the top of the building.
The room was clean and comfortable. I used the exercise room and it was clean and had everything I needed to have an early morning workout. The staff were friendly and helpful with all our questions. Location was great, near beach and great restaurants.

AustraliaThe room initially did not have a kettle, which was provided on request. The room had a coffee machine, but no coffee in any form. When asked, the reception advised that they do not provide it. Why have a machine then? A few coffee/tea packets is not a huge expense, and it would be nice for it to be included.
Excellent location and good for Hawaii value for money (relatively speaking). It was clean and had a good view from the high floor. Staff were welcoming and responsive, and Wi-Fi was excellent.

The location is superb, close to Waikiki Beach, Shopping and Eating Venues. The rooms was ideal, one had a Street and Beach view the other had Mountain and city Views. the fact that we could book into one of our rooms early was a huge benefit as we had our young Grand Children with us. Thank you for allowing us the early booking.

United KingdomIt would've been nice to have been provided with a starter amount of milk and a kettle - we did borrow a kettle eventually. The apartment was smaller than I realised but we managed.
The facility for having a room and bathroom to use whilst we were waiting for our room to be ready on both arrival and departure days (as our flight arrived very early and departed very late) was excellent,. together with a safe place to store our bags so we could enjoy the days. The location was brilliant and the staff really helpful.

CanadaShower head wouldn’t stay up so had to constantly readjust mid shower. I stubbed my toe so many times on the edge of the Murphy bed it was brutal. Sauna was a little dingy (for my liking), but overall good facilities. My mom enjoyed the sauna and hot tub
Was nice and comfortable. Not incredibly upscale but a great place to come home to at night. Had a small kitchenette and the staff was awesome! Had good AC. The valet is awesome and the reception was nice. Walking distance to Fort DeRussy beach which we went to more often than Waikiki beach.

AustraliaNothing; all great.
In the heart of Waikiki; the location means an easy walk to everything. There’s an ABC convenience store right below, with the beach only a minute or two away on foot. The room we had was a Banyan suite, which had a separate bedroom and a kitchenette. A TV in the bedroom and the lounge. A nice little patio with small table and chairs for a wine and nibbles…. and a partial view of the ocean from our 15th floor apartment. Absolutely spotlessly clean! Slightly dated, but then so are myself and husband, so who cares!

AustraliaWe stayed in a Banyo suite and there was a lot of room, just being the 2 of us. Good to have a fridge, toaster and kettle. Loved the location and had an ABC store just below us, for anything we needed to get. Great that they have a coin/credit card operated laundry, with plenty of machines.
