For this caliber of hotel, there were no bottles of free water in the room and no free coffee provided near reception when you were leaving for the day or arriving. Yes, there is coffee in the hotel room which the receptionist said was available. In my experience, that is coffee for a guest to enjoy when staying, studying or relaxing in the room.

Room was very comfortable and the bed was wonderful. The pillows were too hard for me.

The west view from our room wasn't great but it was ok for this visit. We spent most of the daytime out and about so it was that big of a challenge.

The location was perfect for our stay. We were close to the beach and to downtown. We enjoyed the scenic drive in the vicinity as well.

My only complaint was that we thought we would have a better outlook but unfortunately our room was at street level facing the street. The second room we booked was below us and was facing the car park but was quiter as it was below street level.

The location was great and the room was a good size . Very clean & well laid out . There was parking available not too far from the room . I loved that the hotel was just a short walk into Del Mar with all the cafes & restaurants.

HARD TO FIND THE ROOMS. EASY TO GET LOST AND NEED CLEARER MARKINGS.

THE OCEAN GRILL WAS GOOD AND THE HAPPY HOUR WAS A VERY GOOD DEAL. I LIKED THE POOL AND HOT TUB…CLEAN AND NO ONE THERE.

Poor lighting in the room. Also air conditioner a little noisy. Door did not close easily and had to be slammed to shut it. Other guests also had to slam their doors so a bit noisy.

Pretty decor, clean and white. Easy access to room from elevated parking area. Attractive lobby and restaurant/lounge. Nice outdoor seating for relaxing in the evening. 1 mile walk to the center of the village. Easy access to restaurants, shops and gelato!

room was very modest, and on the smaller side, a little dark with tiny windows, not a fan of the interior either

great location, only a short walk away from the beach & del mar restaurant scene, nice quiet neighborhood, decent outdoor seating, attentive staff, maybe not so much of a proper vacation spot but makes a good weekend getaway

Front desk was very slow. Didnt know how to provide Breakfast Credits per Booking reservations. Credits were never received.

Pool area could be spruced up a bit. Bathrooms in the rooms were quite small.

Food was quality, but with a family, it was very expensive. Staff was incredible! Very attentive and helpful! Location is beautiful!

Not very friendly staff, barely saw anyone during our stay On leaving, lobby staff didn't ask any questions, ( no “how was your stay?” Everything ok?” Thank you for staying with us .. nothing not even a good bye 😢

Internet was unfortunately down for one of the days - which was quite inconvenient as i was travelling for work however all other aspects of the hotel was perfect

directions to park and find room were really unclear - the directions written and given on map did not get us to room had to go back and find area on map and find room ourselves which is inconvenient given that nothing is connected
