Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaMy room was not ready when I got there, so I was assigned a smaller room (I paid for a suite). We bought some stuff and decided to keep it in the fridge. It was broken. So, I told the lady at the front about the fridge and then she gave me the room I paid for. Otherwise, I would have been stuck with a lesser room for the price of a better one.
We did not have breakfast.

United States of AmericaProperty is old and rundown, our first room (exterior) smelled so bad we couldn’t stand to be in there. So we ask to be moved and they happily moved us to a bigger room (interior) We were kind of curious why we didn’t get the bigger/nicer room to begin with 🤦♂️ I enjoy the free breakfast when I stay places but the breakfast quality was terrible also the quality of the items available for breakfast were subpar in my opinion. The bagels weren’t even bagels it was some other type of bread made to look like a bagel.

United States of AmericaThe hotel is looking run down and in need of some updating or at least a deep cleaning. The room had a stale odor that took some getting used to. There’s a lot of wear and tear throughout the building and guest room that give an overall impression of neglect. The location was somewhat sketchy due to the type of people milling about the property.
The staff are very professional and happy to help. The parking lot is well lit. I like the layout of the king suite. The beds are comfortable.

United States of AmericaI've stayed in better La Quintas for the same price- the place is very old, in poor condition overall, though it seemed they were doing the best they could with what they had. The minifridge was broken, in a broken cabinet with no back that was open to the inner constuction of the building- like studs, plumbing, electrical all dirty and exposed inside the back of the cabinet- weird. the carpet was very old and dirty, the mattress extremely old and uncomfortable. The pillows were awful.
front desk check in person did her best with the situation. the linens were clean but rough. bathroom was clean. glad there was a bit if breakfast. I didn't find any pests or bed bugs. Though I didn't use it, the pool looked clean and the landscaping was pretty well kept.

United States of AmericaThe employee on duty in the morning was very rude to everyone in the breakfast room, she was over bossy and controlling... It was not a pleasant experience she was telling people what to do with their children and treating it like a soup kitchen at a homeless shelter. My wife and I did not enjoy the breakfast room and lobby experience at all because of her considering how much money we paid to stay over the Labor Day Holiday for the accommodations. Other guests were also a little taken back by her bossiness and rudeness. We felt super rushed and were kind of in a hurry to get out of her way even though we got to the breakfast room and plenty of time. That being said, the food was good but the interpersonal relationship dynamic with that employee was not. She singled me out for getting too much coffee in her opinion, it was very awkward to be singled out and put on display like that in front of the breakfast room patrons first thing in the morning. I'll leave her name anonymous but this was the morning of September 3rd 2023
The food was good and the beds were comfortable. The air conditioners worked well in both rooms we stayed in for two nights. I like that y'all put Dove soap in the rooms that's a good quality soap.
