Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable.
I arrived very late (after midnight) and someone was there to check me in right away. The breakfast in the morning had a good selection. The hotel is also very close to the highway which made my drive the next day easy.

Furniture was run down and scuffed up. This hotel needs to be updated.
Close to Metro airport. Shuttle ran on time. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hot with protein choices and fresh fruit.

Our family stayed in this hotel for 3 days when we went to Detriot airport. The rooms are not very clean. The facilities are fair. We changed to another hotel later because we care clearness very much because of the kids.

Found the breakfast area a little cold. Perhaps due to the front door opening and closing with people coming and going. However, breakfast was great. Which the room had been more sealed off from the front lobby.
The room met our needs. I shared a room with my sister. We came from Canada to Detroit to catch a flight to New York. We missed your shuttle to the airport. The front desk called the fellow back to the hotel for us. He came back and was gracious, stored our bags in the vehicle and was a cheerful, happy fellow. He already had one passenger and we all chatted, including the driver, to the airport. It was a great ride with friendly banter. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only flaw was that my sister left her silk pillow case in the room. She called your hotel twice. However, was told the pillow case had not been found. Most disappointing at the pillow case had cost my sister $70,00 when she purchased it.

Furniture felt a little outdated but it didn’t take from the experience
The airport shuttle is 24/7 and once you call they’d trove very quickly, which you have to appreciate when you are staying at an airport hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable with lots of pillows and the room very spacious.

Ground transportation from and to airport was efficient and convenient. The room was clean, quiet and well appointed. The wifi was fast and appreciated. The breakfast was surprisingly good and plentiful.

I arrived to USA without SIM card, so I could not call the hotel to arrange the pick up. So I had to fine someone to call on my behalf.

This hotel is very very close to the airport. So close in fact, our room faced the airport and we could see planes coming in for a landing until around 8-9p when traffic died down and the airport closed for the night. Soundproofing could have been better, but for how loud airplanes are when your that close, it wasnt too bad and after awhile it sort of became background noise and soothing.
Typical breakfast. Orange & Apple juice. Toast, waffles, sausage, eggs, bacon. cereal. milk. coffee, yogurt. Its free and unlimited. Cant go wrong.

Not good if you want to visit Detroit, since it's 20 minutes away by car from the city.
Very close to the airport and also to the industrial area. Huge room. Free shuttle to the airport. Very clean.

Park and fly rates need to be more transparent.
I thought the hotel was a park and fly? Got there and desk staff told me I needed to pay 30.00 for airport parking? Not what I thought when I booked.

Jackie was wonderful; I had difficulty getting into another hotel before the 3:00 check-in; I called and Jackie made it easy for me to cancel the reservation at American Inn and Suites and come to La Quinta which was so much better.
