They called me around 7 pm at make sure I was going to check in. I’ve never had a hotel do that before. I could hear a lot of noises outside of our room, the walls were thin.

For my needs, the location was too busy. It was right next to heavy, constant traffic. Parking was limited, and just one elevator in the center of the building. My room was at te end of the hall, 3rd floor. There was absolutely nothing outside. The hotel was surrounded by highway and businesses. We walked half a mile - 3/4 of a mile, and there was a nice quiet neighborhood to walk or bike. There was confusion with my room. Checking in I was asked to switch to a different room. That was fine with me, but the new room was $20 more and she didn't tell me about the price change until just before she ran my card. I questioned the cost being different from what I booked online. She said that it was because I changed rooms. So I said to change it back. She screwed around with the computer for 7 - 10 minutes before asking for help. He was very nice and explained that they would be giving me the new room at the online price. Then I could understand why it was taking awhile. The check in process took nearly half an hour though.

It was clean. The shower was hot, i was able to control the room temperature, microwave and refrigerator were working and clean. The bed was too soft for me, but comforter was warm. The building was in good shape, and the staff was, overall, helpful. There were plenty options for food and shopping within a mile. The breakfast was nice. For breakfast, the usual choices, cereal, waffles, yogurt, hard boiled eggs.., no hot foods (sausage, scrambled eggs...). The breakfast area was very clean with plenty room to sit and eat.

Our room smelled Smokey, musty the first night- was ok the second night.

Staff was very friendly, helpful. We wound up eating breakfast towards the end of the breakfast timeframe. Staff were kind and made sure we got what we wanted to eat before closing the breakfast area- did not make us feel rushed at all. Clean.

I've stayed at this location every time I visit home. This stay was different as the guest were very loud in the parking lot and in the building and lots of weed smoking in and outside. I also noticed the police there quite a bit which concurs with the noise and weed smell.

They dont give a hot damn that they are serving water as waffle batter. Front desk lady doesn't care at all 😂 Aside from waffles, decent breakfast choices considering.

The floors are thin prefer 2nd floor next time due to the noise from above, younger people get goofy and stay up all night. Also prefer room without carpet feel more comfortable seeing clean floors. Also at 59 and wife 58 years old would appreciate a grab bar in bathtub shower area 😁👍 i intend on future stays hopefully these requests can be made.

The beds were too soft (not firm at all). There was very few towels.

They didn't come in and clean room or make bed. The staff st desk wasn't honest about military discount i forgot to request when booking room snd when i requested a itemized receipt as i checked out the male at the front desk seem aggravated.
