This was a last minute need. The owner was very accommodating to my special need. He was friendly. The room was dated, but comfortable.

Looks like they were redoing the rooms....bathroom was partially finished. New woodwork but not painted, no towel racks, towels were poor quality. old bed quilt and pillows

Did not try what ever they offered. Several breakfast cafes in the area that were excellent. The manager was very polite and helpful.

The motel is next to I-95 so there was a lot of traffic noise that could be heard in the room, but it wasn't too loud to sleep.

The room was very comfortable and the staff were friendly enough. The location was convenient for access to the Old Saybrook and Essex areas. The price was good compared to hotels in the area, especially for a holiday weekend.

THE COFFEE MAKER DIDN'T KEEP THE COFFEE HOT. AND THE MINI FRIDGE FREEZER WAS LEAKING DOWN INTO THE REFRIGERATOR. WE TOLD THE MANAGER AND HE SAID HE WOULD REPLACE IT. ALSO THE PARKING LOT WAS CRAMPED WITH THE LARGE SUV'S AND PICK UP TRUCKS THAT STUCK OUT OF THEIR SPACES. HARD TO TURN THE CAR AROUND.

THE ROOM ON THE FIRST FLOOR WITH KING SIZE BED WAS VERY COMFY. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND THE AC STRONG. THE ROOM WAS VERY QUIET WHEN EVERYTHING WAS CLOSED UP.

The main room needed updating. The security lock was bent (did not work). Bath towels were frayed & greyjng with age. There was a lot of noise from the highway. I had paid for 2 nights but only stayed the 1st night & moved to another hotel.

It is conveniently located off of 95 & was near the location I wanted to be. The bathroom had been updated recently

The room was clean but very musty smelling and damp! You could feel the moisture in the rug and bedding. There were mold spores on the window behind the curtain. We ran the air conditioner non stop which seemed to help. We did not request another room so that is on us.It was not unbearable and Our stay was short or we would have.

The location was close by to all of the things we were there to see as well as restaurants and shops.

A bit of road noise from I-95, but once inside the room it's hardly noticeable. I'm sure the inn was there before the highway was built!

Very clean and pleasant place. Very convenient to the event we came to town for. Staff was welcoming and responsive. The room was large, and the bed was super-comfortable.

It was advertised as a non-smoking room, but the minute we opened the door, we could smell cigarette smoke. It might have been from years ago, but the smell was still there. My husband cut his leg on a ragged piece of metal on the lower part of the bed. We told the manager and he put a part on it, but the damage was done. The faucet in the shower/tub was a bit odd - we had to play with it to get it to work properly.

There was no breakfast provided. The room was adequate. Nothing elaborate.

The parking lot was very tight to maneuver in. The first thing I noticed when I opened my door was a very musty smell. That first impression was hard to shake. The smell stayed for the 2 days there. The first morning, I turned on the shower to find no hot water. After turning the dial, I found the hot & cold water reversed. Hot water was obtained by barely turning the dial on. Cold was turning dial on all the way to the right. There was nothing offered us other than the room & the usual amenities (small microwave, fridge, basic full carafe coffee maker). What on thing can you do that costs little but goes a long way? Offer hot coffee in the morning in the office from a basic coffee maker from 6-11am. Include sugar & flavored creamers. People on the go don’t have time to make their own, but sure have time to stop in for a quick cup of caffeine, & a friendly hello from management. That little effort & expense goes a long way in drawing people to your facility….

Obviously, it was close to our reason for being in town, for a Celebration of Life for an uncle who lived in Old Saybrook for many years. The motel was just 1.3 miles from the church on Main St. The room basically was quite clean, which is a must when traveling. Thank you for that.

Website indicated breakfast was included. A sign was up at the lobby stating breakfast was not available. There was another note that said coffee in room. There was no coffee anywhere. There was a great amount of noise directly upstairs (we were in room #15) very late at night. The noises were odd and somewhat frightening to be honest.

Spacious room, very very clean with many amenities - I especially got use of the ironing board/iron. Value for money was excellent.

I brought cats. The posting indicates that the inn is pet friendly but signs in the lobby warn that they allow one dog only. Since I have less than one dog I stayed silent on the issue and that’s all I’m going to say about that. The rooms are excellent but there is more highway noise than at any other inn or motel that I have ever stayed.
