The bathroom was very small and we did not have much hot water. We visited the cupola. Great views, but the the staircase and cupola were littered with big ugly black flies.

The location was great. We were able to park our car at check in and we did not move it until we checked out.

The Inn is almost 200yrs old, so don't expect modern luxuries. The lighting was dim and had only 2 light sources, as well as, only 2 electrical outlets - one in the room and one in the bathroom. The bed was very firm and the staff does not clean the room or change the linens until you check out unless requested. The room has an antique steam radiator for heat that you could not control. They also added a space heater radiator as an extra source of heat. The room would be very chilly and then warm up when the Inn turned on the steam radiator. The windows were pretty but old and drafty. They had ice on the inside and also let in alot of sound from the road. The view and location is nice but the sound of the traffic was not. Lastly, the water took a long time to warm up and never actually got hot. Warm enough to shower but not very comfortable.

The Inn is historical and offers a lot of history. The room was quant and pretty. We had a superior room, #2, which faced the main road. It had high ceilings, 4 large windows, floral wallpaper, and hard wood floors. It had a very romantic feeling to it.

Breakfast was nothing to write home about. The coffee was hot and good. The food offered was prepackaged cereal, yogurt, and small muffins packaged in cellophane. Not a problem, but knowing that breakfast is included, I expected, at least fresh baked goods/bread. Also, our room was on the third floor, so had to climb two flights of long stairs. We didn't mind, but it is good to know.

Pleasant stay. No frills, but comfortable and sufficiently clean. Staff was very friendly. Great location right in the center of town. Two minute walk to Schilling, a great brewery/restaurant. 15 minutes to Cannon Mt. Ski Resort. Very easy access to and from Rt. 93. Hotel is old (from the 1800's) but this seemed charming to us & it is in good repair. Floor in our room was a bit warped, but again, seemed historically charming to us. Names of famous people who have stayed at hotel on various plaques around the place were also of interest. Price was right - would definitely return.

We had trouble with the lock and didn’t get much assistance with that. Also, it was a third floor walk up, and that was not communicated until after we paid in full online. One of our guest had to stay with a friend around the corner because he couldn’t do the stairs. We also got a very long and extensive list of what to do and what not to do after we paid in full. These should be communicated upfront.

We got the suite with the kitchenette. It was a lot of space, and a view of the town out. The windows was nice, and each bedroom had privacy because it was separated with the bath.

The room was very small for 2 people. It was also quite warm but the ceiling fan helped with that some. It was inconvenient when you turned the bathroom light on and a light also came on above the sink which was in the room by the bed.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great for walking around the town. The bed was comfortable.

Water pressure in room was not good. Shower took 15 minutes to get hot. I actually timed it. 5 full minutes before it even felt warm. Shower made a very loud noise for the entire time it heated up. Shower was also not cleaned from previous person who stayed as there was hair all over the wall.

Great location. Affordable. The room was comfortable. The place was quaint. Staff were friendly. All in all, good place to stay.

Bathroom was not clean-hair in drain, used bars of soap and empty shampoo bottles in bathroom. We told the front desk but no one ever came to clean- ended up having to find cleaning products and clean it ourselves before we could take a shower. Trash cans had leftover trash in them and blankets had stains and large holes.

The problem was with the room: it was disappointing. For instance, there was not one chair, not even to put one's clothes on for the night. What is one supposed to do with them? Put them on the floor? Leave them in the bathroom? There was no chair there either. I know, it was one of their cheaper rooms, but even so.

The check in was fine. The hotel itself full of surprises. The bed was comfortable.

our room was in an upper floor in the corner of the building: i) No elevator made it hard for my wife with hurt knee to reach the room ii) distance to hot water source made it take quite long to get

I chose the hotel in large part because of the electric vehicle charging capability in the parking next door - and it worked out as planned (only two places to charge but no wait needed for the several hour charge.)

It's a very old building so room was chilly and you could hear everything. The "continental breakfast" wasn't even worth stopping at. They have parking but it is very limited. All of this wouldn't be that much of an issue if the room wasn't so expensive!

Location good for walking around town, however lots of places close early.
