Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesAfter swimming you have to cross the busy downtown street outside in the cold while wet, with people staring. -not recieving my funds for a deposit back onto my CC without calling them. - paying $20.00 unoptional. Included 2 bottle water and 2 tickets to grab a 12oz coffee or bakery food item (cookie, muffin) -The cost to park with the Davenport is almost $30.00!! That is insane pricing! The meter parking is only good parking if it lands on a weekend!
Exceptionally clean and comfy. The pool was clean, warm and beautiful

United StatesThe room did not have a chair to relax in or seating for a couple. There was no coffee or breakfast unless you ordered room service. It would have been uncomfortable trying to utilize room service in the room my wife and I stayed.
It was attractive, clean and quiet. It t was also close to restaurants, entertainment (we attended the Nutcracker) and shopping.

The staff were friendly and helpful. I liked that the rooms were clean, and I loved the decor. We found the location to be perfect for visiting everything we wanted to see downtown. The lobby looked like a nice place to hang out, even though we did not get a chance to do that.

United StatesCheck in was problematic because the rooms weren't ready for some time. The front desk staff were a bit stressed out over this and were on the defensive even though we weren't pressing hard. We went to supper and had to wait for a bit longer. We were given a $50 food and beverage credit, which we used the next morning for breakfast. That was a great service recovery benefit.
The furnishings were very nice and artful. The hotel was within easy walking distance of a mall, which included Nordstrom's, and several eating places were close by then. The room was very clean.

United StatesAs this property was recently the Lusso, and many of the pics were in fact of the other l Davenport hotels, the depictions are misleading on most sites. Also, remodel fell far short in updating bathrooms. The plastic faucet knobs were literally what my grandmother had in the 70’s.
Extremely comfortable bed. Huge room. Great location

United StatesThe parking spaces in their parking area were really small. You had to really squeeze to get out. We were happy that we drove our car and not our truck because I don't think we could have even gotten into the space with a bigger vehicle.
We loved that we got some extras upon arriving! We got a free wine tasting and a meal credit to use at any of their hotels. It was a nice surprise! The check in process was easy. The bartender at the attached pub was great. He made really good drinks! We had breakfast across the street and the food was really good.

Excellent , well appointed room only with beautiful lobby area in the historic area, across the street from the Historic Davenport Hotel with full services for the Lusso. Friendly, helpful staff with great amenities-welcome glass of Prosecco, coupons for dinner and wine tasting. The luxury of the historic Davenport Hotel is beautiful experience. Excellent location for enjoying downtown Spokane and the parks along the river, a short walk away.

United StatesI didn't like being on the north side of the building. I will always request the south viewing rooms from now on. The black out blinds did not work well and I woke up when the sun came up.
I like the rooms and how large they are. Bed was comfortable and I liked that the clock had outlets on it. I liked the Complementary bubbly. Staff was always friendly and helpul. Even had a toothbrush my son forgot. The room was quiet.

The Davenport Lusso is a modern, clean and very friendly hotel in the heart of Spokane. The staff at checkin were really helpful with advice on where to get some food and drink for the evening and ensuring I had everything I needed including parking for my car.

United StatesPhotos did not truly represent the Louie hotel.
A little disappointed, online photos included spa, restaurant and bar photos, but that was not true. The Louie shares amenities with their sister hotel across the street, The Davenport. Maybe note this in the online description. I would have booked the Davenport instead. All in all it was nice.

United StatesTook 10 minutes to be let into the building. Room wasn’t ready at 11PM check in. Had to be switched to a different sized room that was smaller than when I originally booked weeks prior. Staff was unhelpful and gave misinformation. Would not accept Marriot giftcard as form of payment upon check in. Told me to come back in the morning to apply to balance before check out and then was told by another staff member that they could not. Really frustrating.

CanadaI switched my card on the file through booking.com and then they automatically cancelled my reservation, luckily they reinstated it. But we ended up paying $200 USD extra because they didn’t give me my booking.com discount and price. Plus we upgraded on booking.com and we didn’t get our upgrade because of the card confusion. Also there was a downtown festival going on so half the roads were blocked off for HoopFest, but most of the roads downtown seem to be one-ways. And the front desk tried to explain where the parking was. But made it extra confusing. The self-parking is on W 1st Ave but because it’s a one-way you have to come down S Lincoln Street.
The staff were super nice, we were offered a complimentary glass of champagne. And the room was beautiful.
