We went when it was *super* hot and the air conditioner was struggling to keep up. I cleaned the filter, which helped a bit. The sheets were also 100% polyester and very sweaty. Switching to cheap low thread-count cotton sheets would be a massive upgrade. The bed itself was very comfortable (other than the heat...)

Location was *excellent*. The room itself was large for the location and price. We loved the fridge and microwave: it made doing simple cooking really easy. I liked the patio in the back and would have used it if it weren't so hot. Check in was really easy.

The place is in an excellent location, 200 meters from a major train station that connects Jersey City to Manhattan. The neighborhood is very quiet. At no time did I feel that my safety was at risk. I booked a non-smoking room with a double bed and a private bathroom. The room was very clean, and my stay was very comfortable for one person. For my Brazilian standards, it served me very well.

- Whole apartment is old, small and a little messy. Definitely not good value for money - never seen a shower being embedded into the closet ! - no basic bathroom supplies like shampoo, shower gel upon arrival. These were provided after we asked for them. - very old squeaky floors and thin walls - could hear our neighbors all the time

Room size is much smaller than the advertised 23 sq metre. Difficult to move around in the room. Not suitable for seniors as need to climb 3 flights of stairs. Not suitable for travellers with luggage medium size and bigger. Power tripped about 5-6 times on our 1st night.

Location is near to Journal Square train station with grocer and eateries nearby.

Very basic. Never saw any staff. A lot of noise from the next room. Bed was OK but otherwise room was not very comfortable.There was no breakfast.

The price was better than anyplace else in the area. It was relatively cheap and clean.

The bathroom in the room as well as the bathroom in the hallway are unbelievably tiny. There is absolutely zero parking in the entire town. I had called ahead to see if there was street parking and was told that there was. However to street park here you must have a parking permit and most houses have their car driveway as their front yard so there is next to no parking on the street. I was in town for an event and all of the parking garages were full or closed because I was there on a weekend.

The room was adequate for sleeping overnight. It had a nice size fridge and a microwave and the small space was nicely cooled by the window air conditioner.

Room and building both in rather rough shape. Broken blinds in the window, strange noises in the walls, not the most welcoming entrance. Staff essentially non-existent, I only ever saw them one morning vacuuming an entryway.

Stayed here to save as much money as possible while still being in a safe area with transportation access and a room to myself. It delivered on value, but it's clear where the corners were cut.

The heating isn't warm enough and the blanket is too thin. Definitely need a warmer quilt for the cold winter. Also there's no carpet on the floor so it's not as nice as it looks in the photo. Shampoo container in the bathroom is broken.

Very convenient to take PATH to go to New York, 5min walk to the station.

Simple, very clean, refrigerator and microwave, comfortable bed. Very quaint and nicer than those large, expensive chain hotels, Will definitely stay here again while visiting my son. Also was surprised to find a lovely courtyard in the back with tables and chairs.

The 3pm check in time wasn’t great, but otherwise it was good.

Easy access to the PATH and walkable. Safe and secure, great instructions, and flexible with my check out time. The room was nothing crazy but comfortable, had hot water for a shower and a small fridge which was helpful.

The room had this AC that's mounted on the window. But it's not very well insulated and, respectively, the room gets extremely cold. I had to sleep with my jacket on.

Some of the bedding had an unpleasant musty smell, as if it had been folded or put away without being fully dry. Everything else was very clean, though.

Excellent location less than a block away from Journal Square PATH station. Lots of restaurants and other resources nearby. Good communication. Spacious room and well-functioning shower.

The location was very convenient from where I was going. the price was also incredible, considering how it was a last-minute book. It was also very quiet. There was that one neighbor who was revving their car for no reason, but that's beyond the property's control. Everything was an incredible experience

I had specifically requested private parking when making this reservation months prior to my stay, and confirmed there was private parking available with in/out access. Less than two hours before check-in, I was told the parking I requested wasn’t available and was given no alternative beyond finding a garage nearby. If I had known sooner, I would have booked at a different location entirely, since I was stuck paying significantly more at a parking garage instead. Towels were also missing from our room and had to be requested, which was a minor inconvenience but didn’t have us thrilled after already dealing with the car situation on a hot day and wanting to shower. Overall this room would be fine for someone looking for something cheap and easily accessible to public transit, but as someone driving in for an event that was not easily reachable by transit, having parking canceled on me last minute was a major inconvenience.

Overall a clean room and easy access to the room itself. Convenient location to the train station if you are using that for transportation.
