Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I liked the location of the Mammoth Creek Inn with gorgeous view of the mountains and green space with nice stream next to a walking path.

A little tired, could do with new carpet abd a lick of paint.
A great little hotel, just on the outskirts ut within easy walking distance of amenities. Good size room, very comfy bed. Great staff, all very chatty and helpful. Sauna and hot tub are a bonus

Nnce and clean hotel. The spa has a nice hot tub, sauna and steam room (tho steam room is closed for repair). There are at least a bit of stairs. Depending on which floor you are on. Heating options include a bathroom ceiling heat unit and a wall unit in the bedroom. Plenty warm, a bit old school but warm. TVs in room are old but that’s ok don’t need anything fancy. There is a fridge in the room and decent furniture. Comfortable stay but the spa downstairs was nice and looked like it was recently renovated

Serve some fresh coffee in the lobby..

Pillow was a little too high and hard, but really not a big deal considering everything else.
The sauna, steam, hot tub, pool table and a big shared living room in the common area really made this trip very enjoyable. You can easily walk to bars, restaurants and Vons. I'd return here.

The place has lost its way a little. no coffee or hot drink served int e lobby. Just a pot of hot water and a microwave. I think they can at least provide hot drinks. There are of course no breakfast! Overall, this is super disappointing for the prices charged for the night stays. Also, the parking and immediate access to the steps to the front entrance is always full of dangerous amount of ice. No one seems to be working to reduce the risk, put down salt for example.

The lighting was dim in the bedroom area and the upstairs bathroom heater knob was broken. Also no iron in the room

The accommodation used to offer free tea and hot coffee in the morning. Not the case now. That’s disappointing.

There is a lot of construction in the area.
Very courteous front desk clerk. Beautiful gym, spa and jacuzzi. Enjoyed the pool table in the loft.

The complete spa area is closed for maintenance without a date when it‘s finished. For the price of a night, it‘s not ok that they only let you know after you booked. We wouldn‘t have paid that much if we knew. The gym is OK but could use a throughput cleaning, tidy-up, and makeover. Otherwise, we were pleased with our stay. Shoutout to the cleaning personnell for the spotlesd cleaning of our room!
Nice, quaint and clean hotel, super comfy beds and nice common areas with sofas, fireplaces etc. Plus it‘s quiet at the outskirts of town.
