Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaWe were not informed at check-in that the hot tub wasn’t available. After ice skating we all got ready and walked down to find a sign stating it was unavailable. Major disappointment!
We really like that we can walk to the Gallivan Center to ice skate. We also liked that our rooms looked down onto the rink! We also really liked room service! The food was great and they were on time and very polite!

United States of AmericaThe pool is ice cold, the hot tub had so much chlorine that your eyes watered. On thing I always enjoyed about this hotel was the pool, hot tub, and exercise area. This year the area was miserable and we were unable to do an actively our family had been looking forward to doing. We try to stay here every year, but may not after finding the pool area poorly maintained.
Clean, comfortable, modernized, wonderful staff, parking, and walkable to downtown events. There were loud rowdy guests on our floor. Many guests complained and the management responded quickly to return the floor to calm order and peaceful slumber.

United States of AmericaThe little drawer fridge in room 536 made a squealing noise when the motor turned on and there was crusty white stuff on the inside of the bathroom door. The bed frame in 537 was loose and made a banging noise if we sat down or moved on it.
Right downtown near all the things we wanted to do

GermanyOverall good experience, however, in our opinion, the hotel has a bit of an outdated appearance, in particular compared to other hotels in the neighborhood.

United States of AmericaI didn't like how I booked with you all and put a card on file through booking. The hotel would not charge the card that I put on file instead it was an inconvenience to me because they stated that they could only charge the card in person when that was not explained on booking.com. That was my work's card because this was a work trip. Therefore, I did not have the work card on hand with me and it was very inconvenient to have to call my boss which was states away in order for them to send over a card authorization form in order for them to charge the card. Plus this transpired on a Sunday and my job was closed so my boss had to do all of this on a Sunday.
The location was great. The food at the restaurant inside was also great. I was only two blocks away from my work conference. We were also located two blocks from the mall as well and other restaurants so that was very convenient for us.

United KingdomThe decor in the bedroom and bathrooms particularly is a little dated and could do with a lighten up and refresh.
It’s on an excellent downtown location with a great entrance lobby and good staff welcome. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

United States of AmericaQuite expensive for what you get.
Nice big room, with a sofa and a great bathroom/shower. A pretty good location in downtown SLC - particularly if you're on a business trip. Check-in/out was super easy and smooth. Had a good one-night stay.

United States of AmericaI booked the hotel thru Booking.com, I don't know what happened but my name wasnt in the reservation, they had my Guest's name on it. The manager made sure it wasn't her problem, with that happy face (but not), and she said she could not help unless I found out what happened. My CC was wrongly charged and now, AGAIN, they can not find my reservation to resolve my issue. What a mess!! They gave me a wrong room too, I booked for the king bed and they gave me 2 queens bed!
The location, is the best and the room is very clean/comfortable, the breakfast it's ok, but not worthy the $20 per person.

United States of AmericaThe only complaint we have is that you don’t have wheel chairs. My wife ended up slipping on the ice at the rink, breaking her leg. My two older boys had to carry their mom to the room for the night. She then had to hop to the car the next morning when we checked out!
We really like that it’s close to the ice skating rink. We also like that we had adjoining rooms, since our kids are with us, and that we had a beautiful view of the ice skating rink and the Gallivan Center. The staff was also fabulous!!! The breakfasts we ordered from room service were fantastic as well!!
