We feit very much at home in the beautiful house ran by lovely people. Location is excellent, good quality rooms, tea and coffee. In the morning some pasteries and fruit are being served.. Newport is a cool & beautiful cifu

Clean, comfortable, well-appointed place to stay. Great location within a walking distance of the Historic District. The light and fresh self-service breakfast. Environmentally conscientious efforts (less plastic, paper, etc.).

I think my husband would have liked to watch the news on a TV at night. He also did not enjoy climbing up two flights of stairs to reach our room on the top floor.

Location was excellent, parking was easy, in the back of the inn. I wish the room had a little refrigerator. Breakfast was OK, just continental, as advertised.Coffee was available all day which was nice.

it was odd but good not to have a big TV but they automatically provided a tablet that had streaming services on it so I was still able to watch a movie.

We had the room with the spiral staircase to the upstairs bathroom. It was quirky and interesting but the downstairs bedroom area was a little on the small side. Our glimpses into some of the other rooms on the property revealed that they were really quite spacious, so it might be worthwhile checking before booking

The Hotel is lovely with lots of period furnishings. It is clean and, bright and airy, particularly the breakfast and lounge areas. Staff are friendly and helpful, but also not intrusive. The property has a very homely feel

We stayed in the apartment which was quite large and comfortable. Good location and easy to walk to many restaurants and the wharf area (10 minutes at the most) and easy to walk to The Elms. Quiet as well.

The Inn is in a great location. It is close to downtown and the water. The property is beautiful and clean.

The inn is a gorgeous period property beautifully decorated, being there makes you feel like you have gone back in time, we absolutely loved it. It is very clean, our rooms had private bathrooms and were spotless. They provide coffee and pastries in the morning to get you started. The main road in town is only a 10 minutes walk away.

The apartment is located next door and you have to walk through a muddy area to get there. If possible would be good to lay a concrete walkway to avoid muddy shoes and for ease of wheeling suitcases

We were in the apartment and loved having the comfort of all the amenities. Stylish and quiet, easy parking, great location, it was a joy to return to at the end of each day. Highly recommend.

It was just a little tricky to find properly at night even though the driveway had lights, maybe lights on the front sign would be helpful.

It was a beautiful well taken care of Inn. I liked the parking availability and how close it was to shops and restaurants while being located in a residential area. And the hot shower and spacious room was great.

A warm welcome from the hosts , an absolutely gorgeous building and nice light airy room , comfortable bed . Free coffee available at all times ( and candy ) simple pastries for breakfast and lost of helpful advice about where to visit- the Breakers was very interesting! Great value for money and the nicest accommodation pf our trip so far 👌

Would have been nice to have a small TV with Roku in the room vs. the tablet. A Keurig coffee brewer and a toaster would have been handy. Offer bagels, toast and muffins in addition to current selections.

The room was clean and the bathroom was a decent size. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking space. Location was excellent.

We expected the small room as we planned to only sleep/shower/change in it. Other rooms are larger and lovely! The innkeeper early on warned us of "steps up to the private bathroom" and this turned out to be a 12 step spiral staircase. We were OK with this and should have looked at the available room pictures. Just a caution for others.

The mattress was a little soft but we like very firm mattresses. An extra blanket or throw in the room would have been nice, but the mini split provided adequate heat.

Check in was very easy, someone was on duty and showed us to our rooms. The rooms were well appointed and I appreciated the blackout curtains and the extension cords strategically placed for use on both sides of the bed. There were some complimentary beverages, coffee, tea/hot water, milk and a pitcher of water in the refrigerator. There were also some candy dispensers with jelly beans/ gummy type candies. The location was great, easy walk to everything and the ample parking in the back was convenient. The staff was helpful in giving recommendations and there was a prepared list in the room.

There was a very strong, musty, smell in the back unit.

The location is absolutely perfect! We enjoyed having our own little bungalow out in the back. The common area is charming.
