Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicIt is in China Town, so it is quite different than rest of New York, but we did not feel unsafe, so it was not much a problem. It's actually next to metro lane but windows are great and you can hear it just a little bit. Metro station East Broadway is 7 minute walk. Metro station Grand St. is 10 minutes walk.
Really nice rooms, little bit smaller but for New York, it is great. Boiling water and ice was free at C floor. Metro station East Broadway is 7 minute walk. Metro station Grand St. is 10 minutes walk.

Great location in Chinatown, staff was so nice and very helpful. Room was a good size for New York, spacious shower, and smart-tv. Loved getting a list of food recommendations upon check-in

United StatesI didn't like that there was no coffee station for the morning and that there was no cable tv.
The front desk staff was very nice, especially Kathy, who took the time to show me how to get where I needed to be. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was absolutely fabulous!!!

IsraelRoom is small.
Small room in China Town new your. Worth the money. Staff is polite and can give you some local recommendations. Yes there is train above hotel, but if you sleep you willn't wake up because of it. If you eat breakfast in local cafes in China Town you can save a lot of money.

SwitzerlandThe location in Chinatown is not my preference and to walk from the nearest subway station to the Hotel can be a strange experience. Rooms are quite small but usual for Hotels in NY.

United StatesI was not aware that there wasn't any AC unit for the room. We were okay in the springtime with the windows open and the small ceiling fan, but if you are there in the summer you should definitely use the blackout curtains to keep the room cool in the daytime.
The staff were very helpful and provided a long list of recommended restaurants and cafes when we checked in. The rooms are smaller, but they have been updated, and the rain shower was an unexpected surprise!

RomaniaThe neighbourhood doesn’t makes you feel you are in NYC. For some more autentic vibe, you need other location
The room is small, but enough fost what we needed. Nice stuff. We had an issue with the AC (you can’t as adjust it yourself), but they helped us.

PolandCould have hear neighbors sometimes. There’s bridge and subway line across the street so it could be a little noisy, but with closed window it barely heard.
It was cozy and clean. Hygiene utilities provided. Stuff was nice and helpful. Good location. Plenty of dinning places nearby (at check in I’ve received couple of pages of places worth visiting), close to subway. AC running in hot days.

IsraelLocation is good and the hotel was secured but when stepping outside of the hotel the neighbourhood felt unsafe to walk at night. Specially for single (female?) travellers: drug addicts and homeless under the bridge nearby. During the day felt safe and very busy. Noisy and busy outside (see my comment about the good windows)
Good location: close to metro and walking distance to Soho and villages. Safe: hotel entrance is locked at night and there was always someone at the desk. Staff is friendly and helpful. Relatively quiet: although located in a busy street in front of a very noisy train, the double window glass did the work and I slept well. Room was small but well organised and clean. Shower was great and with amenities. There was a fridge in common area as well as hot water. Luggage storage- unlike most hotels in NYC, Mimosa agreed to store our luggage for 5$ a night.

ItalyRoom just a bit tiny, anyways great for the price and honestly we had no problem at all. The block is slightly dirty like all of Chinatown.
Room was filled with amenities of any kind, extraordinary for a 3-star hotel. The entire hotel is super clean and the personnel at the reception very helpful 24/7. We felt very safe around the block. Good location to move in NYC, there are two subway stations at 5-min walk from the hotel that can get you anywhere.

BrazilThe hotel is very good, located in Chinatown, which is super cool and different. I walked around the neighborhood a lot and found it very safe. The staff is friendly, and there are amenities like shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer, a dental hygiene kit… The bed is comfortable and the shower is great. It’s right in front of the subway, but the double windows reduce the noise a lot. The only drawback is that it didn’t quite match the photos shown at the time of booking, but it’s still a very good hotel. Recommend it!

CanadaOverall, I really enjoyed my stay and would stay there again. That said, the room was pretty expensive for the size (nearly 200 CAD a night), but I understand that this is on par with other accommodations in the city. The convenient location makes up for it. I wish the rooms came with mini fridges but there is a communal fridge in the basement (C level) where the vending machine is. You just need to label your food. This wasn't a huge issue but my room was quite cramped and my bed was really close to the door. You can easily hear people in the hallway but thankfully other guests were very quiet during my visit so it actually wasn't an issue. The size of the room was just enough for one person.
The room was exactly what I needed for a short two night stay where I was out all day and only needed a place to sleep. Nothing more, nothing less. The room was small but clean and comfortable. Although the hotel is right next to the bridge, I found it to be pretty quiet at night. Earplugs were available upon request. Perfect location, just a short walk to the F Train (East Broadway) and not far from B + D trains (Grand St). Fresh towels available daily and the room has hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, razor. Reception was nice and helpful whenever I needed anything. Even before I arrived, they were responsive to messages I sent on Booking.com. The lists of coffee / breakfast / food recommendations were a nice touch - I ended up going to one of the recommended places (Kong Sihk Tong) and it was delicious.
