Ended up here by coincidence, due to a change in programme, and what a luck! Probably the most comfortable hotel I stayed in California (at this price tag), many services offered (including laundry), great breakfast and nice staff at the front desk.

The rooms were very nice and clean. the staff was super friendly and nice. especially the Maria at the breakfasts area. she was amazingly friendly and made sure we were comfortably. that little extra mile made us feel good that we stayed there.

Could've had more towels (had to ask for more). Booked a 6 person double queen suite, but only had 3 big towels to bathe.

Breakfast was amazing everyday. Maria was fantastic and so kind. Made sure we had fresh good when she noticed us eating something particular.

Nice clean room with comfortable bed, the staff was friendly and helpful. Location was great with plenty restaurants nearby by. Wifi was good enough for getting lots of work done

Keep towels stocked in the exercise room. However, the Front desk staff were always gracious with providing towels when we asked. There was a conference of construction workers (electrical maybe) with their big trucks. They cordoned off the whole front parking section for their trucks. The front is the first thing guests see when they arrive. You've driven a long way, you're tired and you drive into this hotel and see roped off parking spots! And one construction truck. My immediate thought: Is there a plumbing issue? A construction problem? Is there a problem with the hotel? And how huge is it if lots needs to be corded off?! We understood there were a lot of trucks but we felt they should have blocked off the places in the back not the front. I had a room in which I could see the front entrance. No trucks used those blocked off areas during the night. I saw the workers the morning prior and they had all their trucks parked in the front and there had been no blocked off parking. When I asked my husband for his opinion his immediate and ONLY complaint was the corded off parking spots.

There were 2 people primarily who created this hotel into a warm and welcoming inviting place to stay! I forgot to ask her name but the first person was the lady at the front desk! She was there at the front desk when we checked in and when we left. She was welcoming, friendly, and professional. She always had a pleasant smile on her face, a twinkle in her eyes and a kind word to offer. Maria, the lady in the kitchen was the other staff member. My brother from Virginia brought his daughter, her husband and 4 kids from Florida. When I first came into the kitchen, Maria greeted me immediately and offered her condolences to me and my family. My brother had spoken with her previously and told her the reason for our visit. She went out of her way to make egg sandwiches for the kids when she knew we would be out all day. She greeted us every morning with a warm smile and asked us how we were. It is a rare moment nowadays that you find a place with people (staff) who make you feel truly welcome. These 2 woman were beyond exceptional. They are naturals at creating this hotel a home away from home. Well better than a home because I don't have breakfast made everyday, I don't greet my family with a smile every day especially in the morning. I have stayed at many hotels. This particular one because of these 2 woman created the 5 star rating. They deserve the praise and compliments for their exceptional performance in service, in hospitality, in professionalism, in business. They were this way to everyone they spoke to not just our family. These 2 are role models for every hospitality business model. IMPRESSIVE! I could wax eloquent for days about these 2 but I think you get my point. DON'T LET THEM GO!!
