United StatesI found everything met my expectations.
The staff was wonderful! They helped load my three 50 pound suitcases and 100 lb German Shepherd and his extra large kennel into their hotel shuttle at the airport. When we arrived at the hotel, they put all my luggage in my spacious room while I walked my dog. Breakfast was delicious with a nice variety of hot and cold choices. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. It's not fancy but excellent for the price. Again, clean is important to me. New fixtures are not. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The sheets were soft and clean, and they didn't have a nasty bleach/chemical smell. It was a nice place to stay after a long flight. My husband is staying there again this month. We will definitely be staying here every time we need a hotel room in Anchorage.

United StatesWell... the sink is in the room not in the bathroom. Not ideal for the person sleeping. But the main thing for me on this night I couldn't get hot water to shower. It was luke warm at best. And they is really important to me. It was too late get someone to look into it.
The driver who's name i think was sharon,was excellent. Front desk staff also very nice and a accommodating. They had muffins in the morning and free shuttle service . All great things. About this hotel.

PeruRoom was smelly, seems that they have a humidity problem. Although its not the motel's fault, it is located next to 5g antennas.
I liked that they have a shuttle service to downtown and the airport. The hotel also provided breakfast (eggs, sausages, potatoes, coffee, tea, muffins, cereal, etc, though neither fruits nor vegetables), which was included in the price.

I liked the fact that they offered a hot, (scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage) & cold, (cereal, muffins, toast) breakfast with plenty of coffee or tea! 2 small tables to eat at otherwise it was your lap, which was ok with us. Cozy, quite, old, but clean little Inn. It's a pilots inn as it is right near a small plane landing strip.

United StatesIt was in a very run down area of town, attached to a Chinese restaurant, and located behind an adult themed shop. The shuttle driver, instead of greeting us, let us know that we were in the wrong place to be picked up. This is after asking a nice lady inside the airport where the shuttle pick up was located for that particular hotel. He then went on to say blatantly that people that need to be picked up, only call when he sits down to eat supper. Everyone that was picked up with us, was silent from his blatant rudeness, because we could tell we were a bother to him. He needed us to know this. He literally had something negative to say about every single thing that took place, from how someone put their luggage inside the vehicle, to what time they needed a ride back to the airport. He let the entire customer base inside the van know, that he knew, we would want to go when he wasn’t ready to take us. It was evident that he not only saw the hotel’s customers as a nuisance, but his rudeness was only topped by his need to belittle and insult you. Not a good look and I have a feeling this isn’t the first time someone has commented about this man’s incompetent behavior.
It was cheaper than anywhere else in town.

United StatesListen. This wasn’t in the best part of Anchorage. And the ratings will lie to you! With 2 stars and the outside appearance of the location I was doubtful. But seriously. Our room was so clean and well appointed. The staff was so welcoming and accommodating. I have stayed in less than desirable places and was worried this would be one. It really exceeded my expectations!
