this place gives off a very relaxed "in Alaska" feel while still in Anchorage.

They placed a hold for $100 on my cc for contingencies and one month later, it’s still being held. I have contacted them numerous times, even stopping by once, and cannot get them to close out the transaction. They won’t return my calls either. My bank said they have to close out the transactions but they won’t. They are allowing it to remain in pending status and blame the bank. I will not stay here again just due to the disrespect for my money and business.

Norma menu breakfast was cancelled and replaced by buffet due to staff issues. While that is "okay" what was not okay was the selection of buffet hot items were actually just luke warm - no heaters under food containers were evident or working

staff are helpful - 2nd time staying at this facility and would use again - being able to eat at in-house restaurants is a big advantage compared to many other Anchorage facilities

They now charge a resort fee! I booked with booking at $113.00 and ended up paying 189.00??? I was shocked at how this unfolded and then a resort fee on top of it all! I would have stated stayed at a Hilton for that price!! Hidden fees need to be made public before purchases!!!

The outdated and filthy carpeting all over the hotel including inside the room. I also did not like the view outside my room. The staff did not seem friendly and welcoming when I checked in.

The free airport shuttle and all the taxidermy displays. I love how spacious the rooms are.

I wish there was a washer and dryer on the 2nd floor, too, where my room was. The 12/01/23, 2:00 am shuttle driver was on the phone working out his relationship issues and didn't greet us as we got on shuttle. He didn't even finish his phone conversation before we exited the shuttle. He did open and close the shuttle door, though. I liked the (12/01/23, 2 am) helpful linen/towel guy near the elevator but his contacts covering his entire eyes was a bit disturbing.

I was glad the hotel has a washer and dryer (on the third floor). The hotel is close to airport and has a 24 hr shuttle! The room was clean and the shower was great! I like that there are vending machines near elevator. Laundry soap available at check in. I love the cheery and knowledgeable reception desk lady (on my right) on the morning of 12/1/23.

I wish the bathroom had a door, instead of sliding door. The man that drove the shuttle wasn't very nice. Very rude.

Nice spacious rooms and layout. Loved that you could watch Netflix on the tv. Breakfast options were good and varied. I would definitely keep it as an option for future Alaska visits. The staff at the lobby was always so nice!

Lifted up the sheet on my bed and found a lot of hair under it (on the second bed as well). So there were none on the sheet where I was actually laying but still not nice.

Nice location close to the lake. Also lose to the airport with a complimentary shuttle. Staff at the front desk during check in was very nice. Large room and mostly (see in negatives) clean room.

I booked a king suite and got a double bed. I got a room key for a room on second floor and had come back down to check in desk because someone was already in the room. Then got a room on the third floor with double beds, not the king suite I booked.

I like the shuttle service, great bonus and made me feel safer with the transportation and appreciated the convenience. Room is very nice, clean, and bed was super comfy, probably the most comfortable I have stayed at.

Served the purpose but it’s kind of an old, somewhat tired hotel. Really sprawling so while we did not object to the walks, it’s a hike to some rooms which could be an issue for some. Although we have done a check in online, we had to repeat the process at the front desk which negates the online check in. The charge of water was outrageous. Many hotels we stay in provide at least two bottles of water gratis.

Was a convenient location for us for the business we had to attend to. Can see how this hotel would be convenient to the airport for travel. Liked the convenience of the on site restaurants.

Wanted to use gym and key would only work for room with treadmill asked them to send someone to open it but they never did.Also the internet for the television didn't work ..we waited an hour and no one came called again waited another half an hour at least for them to tell us that it hadn't worked in that room at all for the past week.

The breakfast was wonderful. The wrap we had for lunch Tasted spoiled dressing or spinach. I couldn't eat it.They did take it off the bill. They also had a mix-up with our order of fries and onion rings.

Breakfast was sub-standard. For $25 Buffett I would have expected more options. Everything was bread and the eggs wee flavorless powder. There was no plant based options except unripe fruit. And there was no plant based milk options for coffee
