Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesRoom could have been bigger. I shared with 1 other woman and it was tight. But definitely worth the $ if you need a place to stay right away. Owner/mgr very nice.
No breakfast included in price. But price for room is low so I didn't expect it.

PolandIt was okay-ish for me as I have low standards: 1. It's super cheap, only $20 per night when booked on Booking.com. That also means it could attract questionable people - I had no issues. 2. I've never seen any staff on the premises. Online check in went smooth, but I can imagine it could get complicated. 3. As others mentioned toilet paper is frequently lacking. 4. That one is probably the worst - It's hard to say if they wash the sheets when guests leave, I haven't seen anybody doing it in my room over the 4 days. They definitely don't present them well, all piled up. 5. The kitchen is large, but no plates or cutlery, everything lacking, there is one small table with a couple of chairs. No common room with TV as opposed to the listing. 6. The room they gave us had 8 beds, even though on booking it said 6. That seems to be a recurring issue as per other reviews. The number of people never exceeded 5 though. 7. The neighborhood is quite residential and felt safe, although I think as you head more south it's meant to get rougher. 8. The cleanliness was okay - not great, not terrible. 9. Altogether the place has a great potential, but most of it is wasted.

United StatesThere were rude people living there , they did not keep the bathroom clean and it felt unsafe. We decided to pay for storage somewhere else during the day because we did not want to leave computers in the room. They should at least have lockers. They sent a new address by email very shortly before our stay. They don’t tell you exactly where you will be staying until very late.
The location is Ok for some public transportation.

United StatesYou need to put the right phone number in your message to the customer. The number I was given was out of service and I had no idea the correct number was posted on the front door behind the gate around the property. I also did not know it was ok to easily pass through this gate to get to said door. I could also not reach Uzi easily and he did not promptly send me the door code, as I was in a rush, after I sent the requested information. Also the fact that the correct address must be sent in a message is ridiculous too. I did not go to the wrong address, but how hard is it to change on the actual booking page. The whole check in process was very unprofessional and I could smell weed first thing as I stepped past the gate, not exactly a pleasant smell after the less than favorable check in service I experienced. I won't stay here again.
Place was clean, it's cheap, and it's close to the 1720

GeorgiaI have traveled to many countries and stayed in many hostels, but I have never felt so unsafe. First of all, the people there were not travelers; My roommates were rude, and my room was full of crazy people who had a real fight at 5 a.m. in the room. If your room is number 7, you have to climb many stairs, which is very inconvenient. Since there were no lockers, I had to carry all my belongings with me because they looked dangerous. However, to be fair, the boys in the other rooms seemed polite and friendly.
The only good thing is that it is really cheap.

United StatesI arrived at the property before check-in and wanted to store my luggage, but no one responded to emails or calls. As this is a homestay, don’t expect a front desk on-site. Consider renting a locker in the downtown area instead. The kitchen has limited utensils and cockroaches were spotted. The Wi-Fi is also weaker than mobile data. Pillow filling and duvets are not in good condition.
A welcoming home shared with friendly locals, just a 5-minute walk from the bus stops. The property is very new and has a modern interior with super-cold air conditioning and a well-equipped kitchen. Loundry only cost $4 but only coins are accepted.

United KingdomEverything. The staff were unable to provide basic toiletries such as soap and toilet paper, the whole place was dirty and hadn’t been cleaned. The staff were not helpful checking in as they weren’t there for when we got there. There was homeless people staying in the hostel which is fine, only if they didn’t keep coming into each room looking for a spare bed every 15 minutes. We left the property the day after we got there due to lack of helpfulness and overall hygiene of the property. They didn’t provide the new address for the property so we were waiting aimlessly at the other property for 30 minutes until someone came and told us the new address.
Nothing.

United StatesEverything. Post is misleading. Most disgusting, dirty place I’ve ever stayed. 4 bunk beds cramped into one small room. No closets that were accessible. Kitchen was dirty. No toilet paper or hand soap anywhere. Outlet in room didn’t work. No dining table or place to work. Could barely walk in the rooms because they were cramped.
Nothing. Came with no toilet paper. Entire property was dirty while the owner pulled up in luxury clothes and a Tesla. No cups. QR code to pay host for WiFi when no toilet paper or hand soap was even provided.
