Hallways were super cold other than that the stay was great

I like that the rooms were nice and clean and came with robes and a beautiful bathroom. Very convenient spot most places are in walking distance

I did not like the Panzano restaurant. The service was terrible. The staff at breakfast was lethargic and not attentive.

The staff was nice and the hotel itself was lovely. The wine hour and the whiskey tasting were a really nice touch.

I think the work on 16th Street and on top of the COVID lockdowns has had an effect on the hotel. It is not as busy or as friendly as it used to be. My check in young lady was excellent but a complete contrast with the rude and miserable young lady on check out.

I’ve stayed at the Monaco for many years when on the way up to Breckenridge. So, it’s a familiar hotel for me.

The restaurant (just ate breakfast) was exceptional. It was not included/free, but the daily food allotment helped make it a reasonably affordable option. Room was pleasant and comfortable.

I did not like that there was not a coffee-maker in the room. That was disappointing. I did not want to order coffee from the hotel cafe, getting dressed before getting coffee is not my thing.

Location, parking, both great! I got a little confused because I didn't realize it was valet-only parking. The location was very central and super walkable. The room was clean and quiet.

The door did not meet the floor 100%, so in the evening we could see the light from the hallway. Better lighting in the room could be used.

Very nice, more of a Boutique Hotel, older but clean.

I was under the impression we were approved for early check in, but when we got to the hotel at 130pm we were declined. Understanding, we said we'd just wait in the lobby and the front desk staff said she'd grab us as soon as the rooms were ready. After an hour+ of waiting I go to check to see the status, she begrudgingly checks the rooms, and is immediately flustered to see BOTH rooms are ready while she's kept my whole party just waiting in the hotel lobby for no reason. She explains she's been "slammed", which is a bit comical since we were all right there and have watched her casually chatting for the duration of our wait. The lobby had a poor odor as well. For the Executive King Suite, Kimptons site lists 2 "sofa beds" which neither of our rooms had a 2nd, only the one soda bed in the living room with no linens for it on either room. The AC didn't work very well.

The valet staff was great, the lobby was beautiful and comfortable, the rooms were clean, the suite was relatively spacious, good hotel location. Booking.com had a good deal for these suites.

parking downtown is always a pain, not there fault. I'm way to cheap to valet so that's a me problem.

Monaco has always been a solid choice for me the last 20 years. The updates are very nice.

I wish there had been room service. I am concerned about the hotel as a whole. They went to the effort to make the bathrooms beautiful, BUT the shower flooded EVERY TIME we used it AND the WALLPAPER in the BATHROOM was peeling off. Sad because it seemed so new and not standing up to the efforts or money put in.

The room was very pretty. I wanted to try a kimpton for awhile and when I had a terrible Airbnb experience that was my opportunity. It was a nice stay and right in downtown Denver.

maybe it was due to COVID, but all they supplied was water in the rooms…no tea no coffee. I remember kimpton hotels always had good treats in the rooms. the neighborhood around the convention center is just ok. Lots of homeless people asking for money. the 16th st mall has a few good restaurants.

large rooms, nice lobby, friendly staff, the restaurant was very good…I had lunch there twice.
