Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe doors were not soundproof, so you could hear all the airplanes overhead. For me, it was soothing but was a bit loud. I did see one roach, but it was raining, and the front door does not seal all the way. Could've been a straggler. Plus im an Exterminator so i have a tolerance.
I like the cost per night especially since i stay at hotels for overnight business. I usually try to pay more for nicer hotels but sometimes they're run down.

Not a bad place. The staff was nice, the price was the best I could find. I enjoyed the airplanes landing, it got quiet after midnight. Great for the price

United StatesThe hallways were a little less than desirably clean. Graffiti and worn down slightly.
The location was easy to get to. No charge for parking. Rooms themselves were pleasant enough for the length of stay.

United StatesIndustrial and in a high traffic area but the convenience to the airport outweighs this. Smelled strongly of cleaning products (but it was clean!).
Very conveniently located to the airport and downtown restaurants. We walked to both. We were able to return our car the night before our flight and just walk over to the airport in the morning. The route is well signed, even with construction. The hotel staff was very friendly.

CanadaAs I approached the office, some people were standing outside. Since no one greeted me or said they would be right with me, I assumed they were other guests. A late 50s male came inside and called in the female person who was standing outside, she was obese and in slovenly apparel, wearing a shirt which proclaimed herself to be "awesome." At that, I had to disagree Again, neither greeted me. I should say I'm a 60 year old woman, so I wasn't posing any kind of threatening posture or attitude. I have manners and smiled as I approached as well. He had a conversation with this female, muttered under his breath while I stood there with my bags, waiting to be greeted and checked in. I was finally looked at. I had to speak first. Greeted the people, the female didn't acknowledge me at all. I introduced myself, explained I had a reservation I had booked online, for two people. I asked for the procedure to check in the second person, as her plane hadn't landed yet. I was told I must return to the office when she arrived and check her in under my name. As I'm tired and quite unwell, I asked if I could simply leave her name and info. I was told no, I had to return to the office with her, though it would be very late. I asked until what time he would be there. He would not give me any information that was helpful or offer any rudimentary courtesy. This conversation was like pulling teeth. i couldn't account for such a lack of basic professionalism or conversational skills. I had to ask if the office would be open all night and if someone would be there, Just perplexing how people like this choose to work in the hospitality industry. He did say yes but no further information was given. When my friend did arrive, of course there's a different male, who hasn't been informed that a second guest is arriving late. He was quite rude and told her "no guests after ten.
it's a great location! Little Italy, transit and the harbour. If they could eliminate the need to deal with human check-ins, it would be fine.

Super helpful and friendly staff. Easy location and short walks to the Bayside attractions. Big open room. I didn't mind the aircraft landing from overhead, it is near the airport.

United KingdomIts a cheap motel by an airport, you know what you are getting when you book it. I loved the planes going overhead but could annoy some. Town is 3 or 4 stops on the train. Staff were an odd bunch.

CanadaReally enjoyed my stay at the Motel 6 by the San Diego airport. I was a little nervous to book it after seeing they only had a 2 star rating. But the property very much exceeds a 2 star rating in my mind. The rooms were nice clean the staff was very helpful and friendly and the location is perfect if you’re heading to the airport. I would absolutely stay here again great bang for your buck. Only thing is the airplane noise is a bit loud at night but I imagine this is the case for every property close to the airport. With earplugs in I had a great sleep.
