Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaHad a few hiccups. My hotel key card was not working for the room key initially and in the elevator, had to go to the front desk to get some assistance two different times which was inconvenient. I was not impressed with the Club Patron Lounge, especially at breakfast, there was molded English muffins before I told the assigned worker there. The bathrooms were small but not bad.
Property was beautiful and it really felt like an upscale space when I got in to the lobby. It was very close to some bars so location was great with walking distance. Bed was comfortable and the views were fantastic.

United States of AmericaRoom did both match the lobby. Room was ok at best. It was quite old and worn out. Wallpaper was coming off, bed skirt had holes.
Lobby and bar are beautiful, stunning actually. Room was clean and mattress was surprisingly very comfortable. I had a good night sleep.

United States of AmericaI don’t like that the lobby smells of cigarettes someitimes as there is a bar in the lobby. I don’t know if people actually smoke inside or if it comes in from the outside. The rooms are clean and smoke free.
Love the property. It is well appointed, clean , and comfortable. The location is close to my family, which is why I came to town.

United States of AmericaBed was a little too hard, wish there was a microwave in the room, robe was itchy and thin, closet door wouldn't stay closed, and patron lounge had very little snacks available.
The room was a nice size and I nice a view of the Tacoma Dome and water. Bathroom was nice and king bed was big. The shower stayed hot for a good amount of time and water pressure was good.

United States of AmericaThe restaurant closed at 11 and didn’t open again until 5 and the bar didn’t open until 4. Would’ve like something during the lunch hour to be available. The elevators were wonky our whole trip so hopefully they fix those up quickly! The water pressure in the shower was lackluster and definitely could be improved. The breakfast on the patron floor (25th floor) was minimal for the cost—eggs, sausage, and a variety of bread items. Would’ve liked to see a better spread.
The property was nicely done. It has a lovely bar area and beautiful glass art throughout the hotel. It is easy to get to and down the street from several attractions such as the Glass Museum, Children’s Museum, Civic Center, and the Tacoma Dome. Beds were medium firmness and the pillows were good. We were on the 25th floor so there was absolutely no road noise even with construction on the street. The snacks on the patron floor (25th floor) were a nice touch and if you’re a party with multiple rooms having access to the lounge area is nice! Didn’t use the fitness center but looked at it and it was a nice fitness center, had all the basics. Free weights go up to 50lbs.
