Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The coffee at the lobby costs money when there are many hotels it is free of charge. The hot water in the shower was not so hot, no breakfast
The hotel is very nice and worm, room size is very good and the location is great

No place to eat at the hotel, just a small market to buy chocolate and chips

Toilet noisy flush.
Receptionist asked if first time, then clearly explained garage opposite was used for hotel parking and had bridge to walk directly into hotel on level 2. Large room. Nothing stunning but good and functional with good service.

Parking was $25 extra and that wasn’t in the description. Room wasn’t clean enough. Over powering smell of Chinese food in the hall way to the bedroom, luckily not in the bedroom.

The first room we had one the 6th floor was really hot even after setting temp to lowest setting (67) and the second room bathroom there was some mold on the shower curtain
Good location close to Yale hospital, updated style and they have a 24/7 mini grocery mart in the lobby that has snacks and water/Gatorade They also have a wine and beer bar that’s open till 10pm

Satisfied during our short stay.
The hotel staff was helpful and efficient and made us feel welcomed during our short stay. For the price, this hotel provided all that we needed for a comfortable stay. The per day parking fee was reasonable, allowing access to the hotel directly from the garage. With room keycard, we were free to come and go from the garage.

The lobby coffee machine was not free.
The room was large and comfortable, bed was not too soft, shower and bath were fine. Relatively cheap parking available thru hotel in garage across the street connected by skyway. Location was easy walk to Yale and theaters.

The hotel garage was closed, so parking was a bit of a an endeavor and we had to park elsewhere away from the hotel. The staff explained everything well but still less than ideal .

there are no places to get a coffee in the (early) morning close the hotel. Happily I found the hotel reception could offer me a take out coffee in the morning.
Nice hotel, close to city center, plenty of parking (garage) spaces available around the hotel.

The bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner.

The only slight inconvenience was with parking. I thought the parking garage was attached to the hotel, as this is how it was described online while I was booking. Where we parked wasn't far from the hotel, only a few blocks away, but just not what I had expected.
The king sized bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel location was perfect for the concert we were attending. Fast and friendly service during check in and check out.

The microwave is all the way down, I was on 7 floor

There were lots of children in the corridors running around, playing hockey and monopolising the stairs. The hotel staff told me they couldn’t do anything about it as they had tried to talk to the parents. So at 10pm on a Friday I was offered another room and had to move, although I was the victim.

Unfortunatelly, the area surrounding the hotel is.. well, better not talk about that. Lot's of homeless people and junkies. Ofcourse, not the fault of the hotel, just an information. I
The hotel was nice and is located in the city center itself. The staff was nice and helpfull.My personal favorite was the gym. It's small, but i fulfill it's purpose. The room was nice and well equiped.
