The WiFi was poor connection The whole booking process was completely off putting we had to submit requests number of times and booking .com were very uncooperative spent hours on telephone calls all for nothing they promised free transport from airport but didn't provide it and it was really necessary after an eleven hour flight and needing to attend the Grammy award functions the following day

Dirty floors, the entire place was run down and should be refreshed , pretty loud environment

The location was a little confronting, with the entrance poorly signed and in an 'uncomfortable' setting, given that we arrived after dark. Once we got our bearings in daylight however, we found the location fine.

The apartment was very big and we'll appointed. Plenty of room to relax and entertain.

The only thing I didn’t like was that check in it is a bit tedious I was driving to the property thinking I was all set but soon found out there were more steps that delayed me getting a room in a timely manner.

The property was amazing once entered it was a whole lot larger than I anticipated decor was modern and everything was clean

Location is very bad…noisy…and unsafe Internet keeps stopping and reconnecting.

The cleaning was not optimal. We even had a huge cockroach in the kitchen and a bug in one of the beds.

I don’t like that all I got was a verbal I’m sorry the advertisement on booking was misleading and no resolution!

I could not enjoy it because it was advertised as having 2 beds but there was only one bed!

The lack of parking / DTLA homeless

HUGE space, lots of natural light, upgraded amenities and felt secure once inside.

I didn't like the main building door. But it wasn't a deal breaker.

I loved the place. It was beautiful, clean, cozy, and in a great location. The staff is thoughtful and shows it by leaving extra items for use. The place was huge. And so much value for your money. I would love to come stay here again.

Cheap appliances and shoddy maintenance. Hassle booking and confirming. Noisy neighbors and paper thin ceiling. There were some maintenance issues with the property, including a hole in the bathroom floor that I kept getting my foot caught on, large gashes out of the bath that made taking a bath impossible, half of the living room curtain was hanging down and requires a ladder to fix, so that affected privacy, the clock in the kitchen needs a new battery and the stuck time was distracting, and I had to change the clock on the cooker. The ROKU did not work. The remote turned the TV on but didn't work for any other action at all. (I have photos of all of these if required). I was booked from April 2nd to April 4th. Sunday and Monday nights. I got a series of emails on Tuesday stating my check out was today at 11am. The emails I have received from Abode have been consistently inaccurate and I receive 2-4 copies of the same email throughout the day. Before leaving I received many emails stating I needed to fill in the rental contract, long after I had filled it. I didn't get an email with the check in details. I had to call and was told there was a message in the Booking app. I had no advance warning that this would be the only message without an email. While it was a nice looking and spacious apartment these maintenance issues, as well as the endless and inaccurate email bombardment, made this experience more of a hassle than a convenience, and considerably more so than just booking a hotel. The constant need to guarantee I would make no noise and not inconvenience the other apartment dwellers was off putting, especially given that the apartment above had children who ran around all day and made a lot of noise! All in all this was a frustrating and unrewarding experience, for the price of a very good hotel room. If competing with hotels these kinds of issues, especially unattended maintenance issues, make using Abode unrealistic and disappointing.
