Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

The food offering, drinks and ambience of the bar was very enjoyable. The bedroom was cleaned daily to an impeccable standard.

AustraliaLarge "room damage" deposit ( $150 per day x9 days!) required ,The first Hotel we ever experience this and it took a week after we left till the holding deposit to clear up on our credit card. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room ( they did lend us a kettle) . No fridge in the room ( it would be a problem for summer). A hotel of this calibre should have coffee/tea making facility The floor to celing curtains was stuck ( could not close) and fell apart on a few nights, luckily its winter so its not so bad, bed head has prominent marks and stains . The room is showing its age
Our room was the corner room 1604, 2 sides with large windows. Bedding is comfortable and the heating temperature control is precise which is good. Bath room is excellent, with a window . Great view of the city from all windows

CroatiaThe room wasn't really super clean when we first entered (found some hair in the bathtub). We could also hear the people in the room next to us so it wasn't really quiet sometimes event late at night.
The view from our room was very nice since we were on higher floors. Neighbourhood is nice with a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. Metro stations are on few minutes walking from the hotel which was great for us.

CanadaThe room was in really rough shape. Multiple carpet patches on the floor, bathroom door wouldn’t close, dipped paint everywhere and just a tired feeling space in general.
Cheap and totally fine.

I ordered spaghetti Bol night we arrived. I got a kind of carbonara. I only had breakfast after that which was nice. Staff were super in the restaurant especially Kennneth Staff in general were just brilliant apart from reception. Unfriendly and not helpful although they did their job to the book! I found that before also as we stay a lot at your hotel. Also asked for our bill to be divided a certain way and that was completely ignored. If they couldn’t do it I wish they had contacted me. Instead two rooms were out on our credit card. Annoying to say the least, as I specifically asked for that not to be done. I realise you guys don’t have a hotel con-serge but reception staff should at least be a bit more helpful in answering questions about local amenities in that case. The hotel restaurant was also freezing. I know you had trouble with heaters but getting an apology would have been nice. Especially at breakfast we were frozen.

KuwaitThe only minor thing I didn’t like was the lack of a boiler to be able to brew my own coffee or tea. Otherwise it had everything else I needed.
The staff were the best part, so was the view in my room. Also when the bathroom broke down they were very kind enough to give me a complimentary upgrade and an apology note. I think that was so sweet of them.

CanadaI imagined the room we had would be a little bigger than what it was as it felt squishy with just my partner and I in the room. Our bags took up quite a bit of floor space. I wish the room had a tub. I think I knew it didn't.. I can still wish it had a tub though. The food at the restaurant was quite expensive so we only ate at the hotel the one time. It's also not very sound proof as I could hear people talking (I'm not sure if they were in their room across from ours or in the hallway). The amount of sink space was also not enough and the bathroom door was a bit of a pain in the butt! It should be a sliding door in my opinion!
The view from our room was incredible! I highly recommend a CORNER room if you really want to see a big chunk of New York! They also accommodated me well in the restaurant the one time we ate there as I am vegan! The restaurant staff was also super quick with help and bringing the orders out! I appreciated that when you asked for water you could get as many as you asked for (we asked for 3, 3 nights in a row). The vibe there is hip and chill and its really a nice place. They have a pretty decent parking price with the garage they team with as well considering you're in Manhattan!

Friendly, helpful staff and the location is great! Super close to the metro. We walked to the Brooklyn Bridge and the Statue of Liberty from the hotel. We left our bags after check out to enjoy the city a little more and they took great care of them.
