It shouldn't matter at all but I would have liked to have bedside outlets to recharge electronics while still using them in bed - there were outlets just a couple feet outside that reach. Not a big deal.

Nice quiet area overlooking the mountains. Great friendly proactive couple running the lodge. Homemade breakfasts were a huge plus. Lodge is constructed of individual adjoining one-room cabins which was great and added to the privacy and quietness. Manchester is a great historic town with some very good restaurants. Only 15 minute drive or so to Bromley Mtn., 30 to Stratton - all mainly via uncrowded local roadways.

We couldn't find our Patriots game! It said it was on but really a Rodeo was on. Not a complaint really just disappointed.

Great location right near the wedding venue we were attending. Beautiful peaceful views Very relaxing to sit out back Our room was perfect for two I had a great quiet night sleep.

Only downside I feel is the proximty to the road where in sometimes summer traffic can be noisy.

Excellent Location, close to downtown Manchester.Every room has a gorgepus view. The owners are very welcoming and take great care of each and every guest. Feels more like a family. Definitely recommend and will come again.

The Northshire Lodge felt like a home away from home. The room was so clean and comfortable with a beautiful view and breakfast was delicious! Brad and Stacy are the nicest people and made us feel so welcome. A bonus was Otis, their sweet dog - Our daughter made a friend! Thanks for everything- We hope to be back again!

I would have liked to be able to sit by the fire place in the evening. I understand there are new owners and the fireplace was located in the "Pub" which is now used for breakfast. With the view that would have been an extra bonus.

I really enjoyed the view and the rooms were great. The owners were very friendly and talked with us. I also liked that they had microwave and fridge in the rooms. We arrived on Christmas and nothing was open to eat. We brought leftovers and was able to eat in the room.

North Shire Lodge provided a comfortable and clean room in a location that was super convenient to everything in the area. Kerry was very friendly and helpful in giving us advice about what to do...from hiking to sightseeing, to a local concert. The room was super homey feeling, with beautiful wood furniture and a gorgeous view from the chairs in the back.

Hair dryer was dangerous.

Perfect place for a staycation in Vermont during snowy months. We spent 3 nights looking at the beautiful snow covered mountains. The lodge is about 5-10 minutes’ drive away from the main city and city's noise. Room size is pretty good and standard amenities like coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave are available. They have a cute, cozy, well priced and enormous selection bar. Most remarkably, this small family run place offers hot breakfast every morning. We have traveled to many places ever since corona, and this was the only place which served warm breakfast, something other than instant oats and bagel, toasts. They let you select a portion of one of the items which they intend to serve next morning and serve that with love and fresh brewed coffee
