Parking. $20 a night for valet to park where you should be able to or find street parking. The water for the shower would not get hot let alone warm. I could not even shower in the morning.

Walls are thin. Could gear someone snoring next door minimally. Did not prevent me from going back to sleep.

Location Clean Comfortable. Had King bed with sofa that opens into bed. Did nit need the extra bed but sofa comfortable to watch TV. Double doors open to bed with a window overlooking main street.

The room for the price was much smaller than we expected. The bedroom area was large but the seating area where we like to sit and play games, watch TV, etc was very cramped. We ended up sitting in the bed to play games, watch TV, eat, etc. which was not so easily done.

Love the location of the hotel, centrally located & near everything. Staff was super friendly. We also loved the valet parking.

Hot water runs out after about 2 minutes while taking a shower and from the sink while shaving. Literally rinsing hair with freezing cold water.

The location is absolutely perfect for walking around town. Close to everything on either side of town so we only used the car is we were going a great ways away. The staff were so nice and welcoming. We went two weeks before Christmas so it was decorated beautifully (I'm also positive they had pine tree and cinnamon scents being pumped through the air ducts because it smelled amazing everywhere too). The room was a great size for the 4 of us that went and housekeeping maintained it well with fresh towels. There was nothing bad to say about our stay there!

Unfortunately we could hear snoring every night from one of the rooms next to us. The walls seemed paper thin. There was no way to alter the temp with no air conditioning option. It was uncomfortably warm at times. Our room was so supposed to have breakfast included but that was never explained to us on where to go. Not much was explained at check in. When we tried to find someone to ask it seemed there were few people around so we ended up just going outside the hotel to eat. Happily, there were many great places to eat all around us.

We loved how central the hotel was to everything. We walked everywhere for the whole weekend. Our room was pretty with a view of the lake.

Came during hockey weekend coming into town. We had a lot of slamming doors next door and kids yelling etc.... just a little crazy for a romantic getaway with my husband.

I am sorry we didn't come earlier so we could have enjoyed the rooftop lounge. It looked so comfie.

The location, view and bed were perfect. Paid valet parking was convenient and on site. We didn't eat or drink at the hotel, but only because Lake Placid offers so many dining opportunities.

The issue is parking: They offer $20 on-site parking, but valet only. If you object to strangers moving your car, you have to use the municipal lot that sometimes restricts overnight use. The water pressure in the shower was barely enough to rinse off.

When booking it dos not clearly mention that parking at the hotel was “valet” only. The “parking lot” is only 20 feet from the door making valet unnecessary, and at $19.00 per day, it’s a very ridiculous charge.

Just suggestions: make sure shower products are filled! We had no shampoo or anything. Give at least 2 bars of soap. Each room should have TWO robes!

I loved it! Could use more parking but, they seem to manage.

Although it was a little pricey for the "pre-season"; the staff were super friendly and helpful; the facility was amazing; the location is nice ... right across from the lake on Main Str.. Parking is a little different, but valet handles it.

We were not impressed with the Charcuterie boards from the restaurant.

It was dog-friendly and the staff was absolutely amazing! The location is perfect; right in the heart of town.

I wasn't aware of the parking situation beforehand so I didn't know they charge $19 a day (valet parking, no self parking available) They said we can also park at an off site lot within walking distance (very close) for like $5 or $6 a night. We chose to park at the hotel valet parking since we had our bikes on the back of the car. The valet service was absolutely great! Very quick and friendly staff. I would recommend parking at the hotel for sure if you don't mind spending the extra money. We stayed for three nights and they only charged us for two days worth of parking.

Loved the looks inside and out of this hotel and the lobby had a pleasant very noticeable smell! Our room was beautiful and clean with a great view! Definitely going to stay here again in the future, great location in the heart of everything! My stay through booking.com included breakfast with the hotel stay, the food was delicious with great options (service style, no buffet)! Both the breakfast room and the restaurant for dinner were both updated and had a great atmosphere. They also have a rooftop bar which I didn't get to this trip but I'm sure it's an awesome spot to hang with a great lake view, can't wait to check it out on my next visit!
