There is PAID parking which I didn’t realize until after I booked so factor that into your budget. There is no elevator which is good to know if you have mobility issues. There is no ice machine. Our coffee machine didn’t work properly which I alerted the staff about.

This is an affordable unique stay downtown. It’s a good location. There was a hot plate, microwave, fridge in the room. The check in process is self check in. You will get a text or email near check in time with the code to the door.

Not the fault of the accommodation at all, and all was fine!! But the tornado sirens went off during our stay and it would have been good to have some in case of emergency information in the room. We were international visitors and it wasn't my first tornado warning, but my partner was totally suprised by the whole thing and would have appreciated a laminated sheet or something:)

Good central location, room was fab and super quirky- much more fun than a chain hotel! We'd 100% stay again. Loved the history trails over the walls of the hallways etc. Clean, comfy, cool, spacious, really recommend. Check in was super easy.

Unfortunately on the ground floor I didn’t feel very safe. Strangely they have opted for no net curtains and only roller blinds so if you want privacy you lose all light. At night, the windows didn’t keep out the noise - and per most US cities there are some crazies around - so I was actually quite scared when it sounded like people were directly outside. It was very loud whenever anyone else in the building flushed their toilet.

The property itself and the room was beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and I loved how it was decorated.

The shower needed a little attention (the door and door handle need repair, the water pressure was a little low, and the floor felt slick [maybe needed cleaning?]), but this is a minor issue.

The attention to detail in the renovations. We enjoyed reading about the building’s history. It’s a lovely place.

The bed wasn't super comfy and also the shower had very little water pressure.

It was really clean! The fact that a full kitchenette with a hot plate and cookware was really awesome.

The light in the outdoor entry way was dim and it made it hard to see the key pad. I was caught off guard by the "contactless" mode of doing things. I had to upload my photo ID and credit card picture. I was briefly worried that the whole thing was a scam (it wasn't). It may be that this is clearly stated somewhere before you book and I missed it, but if not it would be good for people to know -- not everyone will be comfortable with this.

Beautiful historic building! There was a problem with my room door code not working, but I was able to reach the manager (using the phone number that he had texted the door code from) right away. It was fixed immediately and he was very friendly and apologized. Minor problems like this aren't an issue when quickly resolved.

We had a first floor unit which was beautiful and looked out on the street. The atmosphere and furnishings were really lovely. We just couldn’t open the curtains at night because it was street level.

Downtown location, kitchenette was great for meals, price is better than most hotels. Liked the history walls on each floor, didn’t know it is the oldest apartment building in Minneapolis. Glad the building could be saved and restored.

Although cute, The chairs were rather uncomfortable for sitting in. The bathroom was so small, we nearly had to stand in the shower to shut the door to use the toilet but served its purpose.

The location being less than a mile from the US Bank Stadium was perfect for the price. It was very cute with lots of character and the key code to access entry into the building and the room was very convenient.
