We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesIt would have been nice to have beach towels, as we had to buy them there. The beach wagon and umbrella were missing, although they did offer to get us a new one. We could not find a cutting board and we tried to cook pancakes in the pans, but they were terrible. Also, the sliding door was very difficult to open and close.
Thought it was in a great location, although I was happy the lot wasn't full because the parking places right in from tof our building were very tricky! Setup worked great for my teenage granddaughter and I. Very clean and comfy.

United StatesFiguring out where to access the public beaches wasn't mapped out or listed. I had to ask around, but it was easy to find and get to after that. Unit could use pot holders for us oven users. The number listed for the local office never worked, it only had a recording telling you to call the corporate number, which was confusing. With the internet issue I had, I was the one to reach out each day, and though everyone I talked to was extremely kind, and the issue was nothing they could fix, more communication initiated by them would have made the issue less stressful for me. But I did appreciate the monetary compensation after my stay. Thanks to all involved.
Proximity to the pool, beach, shops, nature reserve. Back porch was perfect, all the nature around the unit was lovely and relaxing. Very nice unit, spacious, good lighting, comfy bed.

United StatesAir conditioning was not  evenly distributed. Much colder downstairs than upstairs. With only one thermostat upstairs it made it impossible to get it evenly the same temperature. 
Spacious and well equipped. Loved the back deck where we could watch the squirrels.  Near the pool so we could walk just a few steps to get to it.
